An inside guide to Bharati Vidyapeeth Department of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Almost 80% students were placed in my course, i.e., CSBS. The highest package offered was between 10-12 LPA and the lowest was up to 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Mahindra, as well as other companies like Sony India and Spinny. Top roles offered are Data Science Intern, Mechanical Development Engineer, Sales and Marketing, and App Developer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and it still has a huge playground where different sports are played, including a cricket box, etc. The campus is filled with greenery, which provides a sense of peace and calm when intending for self-study if you do not want to study in classrooms. All labs and classes are equipped with Wi-Fi, and there are labs for different departments, though some labs are still under construction. We have a central library system with an e-library feature where many published papers and books are available. We do not have a hostel.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, and most of them have a doctorate degree, and the ones who don't have are told to pursue it while teaching. They have their Master's degree specialized in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is quite nice, though it's difficult to understand concepts from 1-2 teachers. The course is designed by TCS according to industry necessities, so I think it makes us industry-ready. The semester exams are quite difficult and come from Pune campus.

Other: I chose this as it has both aspects, i.e., business and engineering, so it gives us an advantage over other students who pursue engineering, as we have business knowledge too. I wish we had more projects and models to work on instead of written assignments. Events take place regularly, although on a small scale, like for one department, but the annual fest goes on for many days. The campus is filled with greenery, which provides a sense of peace and calm. The connectivity is good as it is nearby the rail station and metro station. Many scholarships are available.

Our college has beautiful infrastructure, helpful faculty, and a good provision for students.

Placements: Our college offers B.Tech and M.Tech in CSE and IT, as well as AIML and CSBS (launched by TCS). We are aware that the world is making tremendous progress in the technical field with the help of AI. Our college offers specialisation in the respective courses and trains students. TCS has launched their CSBS course, which combines technical skills and management knowledge. Also, the syllabus of each department is neatly designed and updated with all the most recent activities discussed worldwide. Getting admitted into this college is one of the best experiences in educational techniques.

Infrastructure: Our institute is the first-ever deemed university in India. We have an environmentally friendly campus and an eye-catching infrastructure with big classrooms, smart learning boards, computer labs, practical labs, and many facilities for students' health. We have one of the best libraries in Navi Mumbai where we have many books for different branches and competitive exams. There is a pretty good provision in the hotel for students. The college is nearby Kharghar railway station and bus stands.

Faculty: Our institute has committees of student council such as cultural teams, technical teams, sports teams, and social media teams, which work for a particular event and, through this institute, offer the opportunity to students for their future convenience. Exams are tough here, so studying is mandatory for good grades. Being a first-year student, I am grateful to study at BVDU-DET. Mentors and faculty members are helping us to learn new things with prolific exposure to the technical world. Overall, BVDU-DET is the perfect choice for making your career bright.

Other: I have chosen the CSBS course as it will develop my business-related ethics and knowledge of that field. Every year, we celebrate fests such as traditional days, sports days, technical events, etc.

Review of Department of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. The average salary package offered ranges between 7 LPA - 8 LPA. The salary packages will increase. Top recruiting companies are Cisco, Amazon, and Infosys. Almost 90% of students got placed in our college with salary packages of 10 LPA - 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The library, classrooms, and other halls are perfect for students for their studies. Medical facilities are available in our college. Our college has new canteens. Our college provides us with sports and games facilities.

Faculty: Our faculty members are excellent. They take care of students. The first-semester exam is difficult. The main priority is education. Our professors are the best. They organise practical sessions for knowledge.

Other: Many events and fests with popular celebrities are held in our college.

The teaching and placements are excellent at our college.

Placements: As I'm pursuing the course B. Tech CSE (AIML), it started only 3 years ago, so placements for our course have not yet happened. The salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Jio, Wipro, Capgemini, NewGen, etc., visit our campus.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. The hostel condition is very not good. If you are applying to this college, I recommend you not to stay in a hostel. The library is good.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. They are always available for you in any condition. During exams, if you want, they will take extra classes for students. All teachers are qualified. Semester exams are difficult.

Other: I chose this college because this is the best college with the course available that I wanted in my vicinity. The college should have a canteen and a developed sports ground. Our college does not celebrate any festivals.
