Overall, the college is good, but it does not feel VFM.
Placements: Companies like TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, Amazon, and PhonePe come to college, as reported by Google. The major package offered is 9 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. The placement of the IT branch was reported as 78.33% on Google in 2025. The overall percentage of placement was reported as 80-90% in 2025.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi only works on some computers; in some labs, some machines in the library don't work. The library is well-maintained, but the classrooms are not that good compared to other colleges. The college hostel is not good; private PGs are better than that.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to students, gives suggestion and shows students mistake to them and show them a right path. Not every teacher is best some of them are like just think as work is 9-5. Talking about college exams it is not hard to get pass in exam but study is needed to getting passing marks also and Syllabus is not too hard.
Other: The campus is quite big, which includes many colleges: dental, medical, architectural, homeopathic, physical, engineering, etc. I chose IT because I was passionate about it, and it is very related to software, which is best for me. As an improvement, I would suggest that the college should have a gym for student use. Every small college provides a gym for students, and it feels low compared to the facilities. The college has a very large ground for sports activities.

Review of College of Engineering, Bharati Vidyapeeth.
Placements: The overall placement percentage of B.Tech (all branches) ranges from 80-90% and almost 87% of students got placed last year. Among that, mostly the students of CSE, IT, CE, CSBS, R&A, E&TC, and ECE branches are well placed among them. The highest package offered in 2023 was 27 LPA. The average package ranges from 7-8 LPA. The lowest package was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were TCS (Ninja, Prime, Digital), ICICI Lombard, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Tata Power, Ashok Leyland, etc. Internships are basically offered on the basis of one's skill set and tech stack. Most of the students who are eligible enough secure good internships.
Infrastructure: Buildings, classrooms, and labs are well-equipped, with smart classes and good computers. Some of them are air-conditioned. The Wi-Fi facility is good in the college. The library is a 3-storeyed building with well-equipped and the latest books and remains open till 5 PM on regular days and till 8 PM during exams. We have medical colleges and a hospital on our campus itself so there's no need to worry about medical facilities. Sports and games activities are average. Mess food in the boy's hostel is okay, but a bit less value for the money as it is paid.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and most of them have over 10-15 years of teaching experience. Most of them are PhD holders and if not then they have more than 15 years of teaching experience. The teaching quality is okay as well. Despite the popular notion of AI taking away software jobs, the IT course would still be relevant in the coming years and the college make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately tough with an overall passing criteria of 5.0 SGPA.
Other: I preferred the CSE, IT, and CE branches when I opted for counseling after the BV-CET results were out. I got shortlisted for IT as per my rank. The IT course is among the most relevant courses in engineering in recent times. I wish the course would be more AI integration-based. It is teaching students more about AI and its uses in the coming times. There is a techno-cultural fest called Bharatiyam that takes place every year. The campus crowd is pretty above average. There is good connectivity with the entire Pune city. Extracurricular activities are well-conducted.

Good infrastructure, fests and curriculum. Placements need a little improvement.
Placements: Our college provides 100 percent placement rate. The highest package offered is 42 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA and the average is 6-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Capgemini etc. Our college also provides internships in well-known companies. Our college has a training and placement cell which helps students get jobs in their dream companies. They also help them find suitable internships according to their interests and skills.
Infrastructure: All classes are equipped with CCTV cameras, smart boards, comfortable furniture and good lighting. All labs are equipped with top-notch equipment, instruments and computer systems. The entire college is equipped with CCTV cameras. There is good WiFi connection throughout.
Faculty: The course curriculum is up to date and is designed according to the needs of companies. All the teachers are highly qualified and help guide you throughout your college journey. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty with a pass mark of 60 percent.

Decent Infrastructure and average placement.
Placements: This year was a recession year, so the placements all over the country went down, but still, the college maintained some decency and got mass recruiters and even some big names like ICICI, AB, and Tata Communications. The average package was 4 LPA, but the number of placements was too low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that appealing. The buildings are old, and the campus is not of the college alone but of the university, so overall the campus looks big, though in real terms it is small. Classes are decent, and the inclusion of smartboards is also there.
Faculty: The faculty of some of the branches is quite a hill, but most of the core branches have teachers who honk every minute for the work. Also, assignments and project-based learning are hampering the study. All of this could be avoided to get more focus on industry.
Other: Overall, it is good, but do not expect a lot from the faculty. You have to do it on your own.

You can consider it a good option as it has a diverse crowd.
Placements: Placements are quite average, like INR 6-7 LPA, and have a quite average training and placement cell. They would work upon your talent and look for good opportunities for your placement, just like any other college, but would have a better one.
Infrastructure: The college hostel is disappointing with its fee of INR 1.2 LPA, including the mess. The hostel building structure is very disappointing, as only first-year students can take admission there, not any other students. It's not well maintained; you can have better opportunities at this price.
Faculty: Quite average curriculum like other colleges, you have to maintain 75% attendance as they are quite strict about it, and you would have to face two unit tests in the semester and a final semester exam at the end. You would have a burden regarding practicals and assignments.
Other: Before taking admission, first try to visit campus.

    A:

Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Pune accepts students on an entrance basis. Students seeking to apply for any of the courses offered at the college are required to appear for either the CET conducted by Bharti Vidyapeeth or other accepted entrance exams. Foreign National/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI candidates need to present a valid score of relevant All India Common Entrance Test. Students can get in contact with the admission office of the institute for further information.

    AskShikshaGPT on App
Q:   How is the faculty at BVCOE, Pune?
    A:

The faculty is well-trained and very supportive of your ideas. The faculty is friendly and cooperative. Faculty will assist you with the lab practical theory and test your knowledge at a very good level as they're well-educated, and have extensive experience in their field of expertise. There's enough faculty and student ratio. They are 1:20 in our department and it's good for the students to be able to get help from teachers.

Q:   What is the fee for UG courses at College of Engineering - Pune?
    A:

The charge for UG courses at School of Designing - Pune (COEP) shifts relying upon the particular programme and year of review. Be that as it may, here's an overall outline:

    • MHT CET Quota: ?84,250
    • JEE Main Quota: ?84,250
    • NRI/OCI/FN/PIO/Gulf Quota: ?1,33,400

These fees are the round figure fees and It will vary every year of courses.

Q:   Can I get into College of Engineering - Pune with 70% in JEE Main?
    A:

It's hard to say whether you can get into college of engineering  - Pune (COEP) with a 70% score in JEE Fundamental because of a few elements:

    • Admission through JEE Main is restricted: Just 20% of B.Tech seats at COEP are filled through JEE Main scores, while the leftover 80% depend on the Maharashtra Normal Entry Test (MHT CET). In this way, the opposition for JEE Main seats is a lot higher.
    • Percentage is less important than percent: JEE Main scores are accounted for as percentiles, not rates. A 70% score could mean an alternate percentile relying upon the trouble level of the test and the quantity of test takers.
    AskShikshaGPT on App
Q:   Can I get College of Engineering - Pune, B.Tech with 88% in JEE Main?
    A:

With 88% in JEE mains, entrance to COEP is rarely possible.Additional exams like MHTCET and MAHCET are approved by COEP Pune.

The B.Tech CSE closing ranks, according to the JEE Main cutoff 2023, are 4593.The closing rank patterns for the last two years, when BTech CSE closed at 5773, have decreased, according to an analysis of the cutoff trends.

The cutoff point for admission to the mechanical engineering department is 56008 in 2022.
