MCA is a two-year programme offered at the PG-level. Find below MCA eligiblity, selection criteria and total fee:

Eligibility criteria: A pass in graduation with at least 40% aggregate (35% aggregate or reserved category) and pass marks in Mathematics either in Class 12 examination or graduation.

In my opinion, this is the best private university in West Bengal.

Placements: Approximately 98% of students got placed from our course. They are all getting placed in large MNCs like TCS, Wipro, etc. The companies offered approximately 10 LPA with great opportunities and positions like software developer, network engineer, website developer, and also some students got internships in startup companies.

Infrastructure: Brainware University provides students with a great infrastructure that supports teaching and learning, and also provides well-maintained classrooms and buildings. This includes free Wi-Fi, newly modified labs, modern classrooms, and libraries. Majorly, they are focused on a safe, clean environment for residents, mess and canteen also supply good and fresh foods, and offer great medical facilities for residents, and also provide well-maintained grounds for sports and games.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, friendly, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching process is very advanced and modern. It provides the right skillset to students and prepares students for industry and also for the real world. Exams are not too difficult, it is moderate. Pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course because it gave me the life that I had been dreaming of for a long time. Those who love computers and engineering, I think this is the best choice for you.

I am satisfied with my university.

Placements: Last year placement was almost 30 to 40 percent. The average package, according to me, was around 3 to 4.5 lacs. Tata, Adobe, Deloitte, Capgemini, and so many companies came. I don't know very much about the internships, but I heard from the senior that there are internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi support on campus, yes, but they provide an Ethernet connection for the computer lab when we are doing lab. The library is also very good. There are a number of books available in the library. There is a food court and canteen available. The canteen is very good and you get food at a reasonable price.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful. They are very gentle, yes, but there is one problem: you may face a language problem if you are not from Bengal, because they usually speak Bengali, but while teaching, they use English or Hindi. Semester exams are not very hard and you can easily crack if you study.

Other: I like the college, yes, but the intensity of class is so much for the MCA course and they almost teach 9 to 5. The infrastructure is not so big.

Placements: As a current student of MCA at Brainware university, I can share that approximately 80% of students in our course were placed in my batch the highest package offered was around 8 LPA, while the lowest was 305 LPA with an average package of 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Teach Mahindra.

Infrastructure: Brainware University provides commendable infrastructure for the MCA course. We have well computer labs, a resourceful library Wi-Fi facilities available. Hostel facilities are decent but the food at the canteen is average. Games and sports facilities are available.

Faculty: The faculty of Brainware University for the MCA course is generally helpful. They provide excellent guidance and support the curriculum is relevant and aligns with university demands, making students industry-ready. The semester exams are challenging the pass percentage is 75%.
