A Good University that Could have been OUTSTANDING.
Placements: We do not have placements for the Engineering programs. Only the students from MBA, English studies, Cultural studies and B.A. B.Ed are allowed to take part in placements and that too isn't organised on the university level. Companies/firms are called to the campus by the Holds and then a list of eligible students is made and the placement notices arena't widely circulated. The training and Placement cell is there only for namesake and they turn deaf ears to students' queries and requests. All in all, students have to apply to companies for respective roles without the University actually arranging things for them.
Infrastructure: I myself a pass out student of the Centre for Nanotechnology have seen and experienced things at the grass root level. Our labs don't house even the basic equipment and instrument which is the utmost need for any studying nanotechnology-the technology of the future. We had to visit other institutes for our lab work. Even there is a shortage of chemicals in our labs which sometimes we had to arrange ourselves. We also had no access to software required for result analysis of data and we had to take help from other colleges for the same.
Faculty: One of the best points in favour of the university is the quality of teachers. Our professors are aptly qualified to teach the students as well help them in their areas of interest. Professors had great work experience and they were ready to help students in any way they can. Sometimes, they used to showcase their Ph.D. research works in the classroom which helped us to understand a lot of stuff. Doubts were cleared by the teachers whenever they were free. We were 40 students in the class and was quite good considering we had an hour's time for each class that was taken by the teachers. Sometimes, there were extra classed too in case it was required by us. We were given xerox sheets/books on various topics if the books were't available or only a part of the topic was needed for our curriculum. There was lack of industry exposure. We had to apply for internships in various industries and the professors also helped us through their contacts. The course curriculum is quite useful for all the students but the lack of industry exposure does not let students take their knowledge to another level.
Other: The administration is the worst in the university. The events which are held are not very student-centric. Campus crowd is not very great and are careless as to how resources are to be used. There are no student societies which can organise events even at a small level. Campus surrounding id one of the best in India. CUJ has once been awarded 2nd Best Green Campus in India in 2014. There is little to no pollution. Mess food is really pathetic and no one pays a heed to it. Scholarships are given only to the Reserved candidates. Extra activities include sports day which is held once a year.

I am absolutely satisfied because of good faculty.
Placements: It is very disappointing regarding the placements of CUJ. But its increasing. The administrative team is trying to increase the facilities of the laboratory. It is working on a temporary campus at Brambe. So it is very low at attracting the companies. But it is increasing. The placement cell is working hard to attract the companies.
Infrastructure: We have good classroom facilities. All the classrooms are air-cooler controlled. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus. It is fully covered with Wi-Fi facility around the entire university. The central library was established in 2009 which has almost every single book according to our syllabus including those that are necessary to prepare yourself for the future. Every year, the sports fest was arranged by our university authorities. Two god-like doctors were serving 24*7 . It has a special facility for girls which is having one female doctor as well.
Faculty: Every department has a maximum number of faculty. They have good research area. It has good research facility. According to paper publishings, the professors here are very active. Every senior professor has minimum 40 papers. The maximum research facility is available in GEET (Green Energy Engineering Technology), and it has a good research facility with the advanced instruments like SEM, TEM and AFM.
Other: Every university makes arrangements for a sports fest. To develop the rural area, this university arranges many types of fests according to the local religions.

Other: This college is well funded by central government, yet it’s in very a poor position, no campus placement for any batch of this university, really it’s a nightmare for a student to study in this university. So I will not suggest any one to join this for any course.

Central University of Jharkhand- A platform for every income group.
Placements: Many people are doing internship, since this is a research oriented course, people do research in various laboratories across the globe. And there is a complete one year dedicated for doing research. People need to look for internships themselves and generally professors are open to you, as nanotechnology is an emerging area.
Infrastructure: Mess quality is of government standard. Some like and some may not like it. Hostel are not that appropriate. But are available in very small rent. Less than 100 in month. So people mostly prefer them. Classrooms and libraries are decent, and easily adaptable.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite good and helpful of my. Department. Teachers encourage you for the best, and bring the best in you. They encourage you to participate in extra curricular and internship. Since a government college has it's own hassles. And everybody is bound by rules, but teachers are helpful.
Other: My course is unique, driven by research. World is in transition state. For Nanotechnology itself.
