Central University of Karnataka admissions 2026 are open. A few more updates are as follows:
- UG and PG courses merit list for 2025 has been released course-, round-, and category-wise based on the CUET 2025 scores.
- The IIT JAM 2026 Round 1 counselling registration and choice filling process for admission to the MSc course has now closed. The first admission list will be announced on May 25, 2026.
- The KCET 2026 exam has concluded for admission to the BE/BTech course, with the results to be out soon.
- The CUET PG 2026 results have been released for admission to various PG-level courses. The counselling schedule will be out soon.
- The CUET UG 2026 registration portal is now closed for admission to several UG courses. The CUET exam 2026 will be conducted from May 11 to May 31, 2026.
- The Karnataka PGCET 2026 application portal is now closed for admission to the MBA, MCA and ME/MTech programmes. The exam for the MCA and MBA courses will be held on May 24, 2026, and for the ME/MTech course, on May 23, 2026.
CUK Karnataka Highlights 2025
The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) was established in 2009 in Kalaburagi, Karnataka with 654 acres of land. Established as one of the 16 new Central Universities, CUK Karnataka was established by an Act of the Parliament proposed by the Government of India.
Recognition and Accreditations: The University is approved by UGC and has a ‘B++’ Grade accreditation by NAAC.
Departments: Central University of Karnataka offers courses through 10+ constituent Schools.

Central University of Karnataka course includes UG, PG and Certificate levels, offered in full time mode. The University courses such as BTech, BSc, MSc and MCA as popular courses. Admission to these courses is offered on the basis of merit and valid entrance scores. Therefore, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 to seek admission at UG level courses.
Similarly, for PG level courses, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation. In addition to this, candidates must secure valid scores in accepted entrance exams such as CUET UG/PG, JEE Main, Karnataka PGCET or other equivalent examinations. CUK offers over 40 courses in Arts, Humanities, Management, Sciences, and Engineering streams. The University has 16 departments spread in 10+ schools and one centre. It offers 9 dual degree programs, 15 PG programs, and 16 research programs. Central University of Karnataka courses and eligibility include BTech, BSc, MSc, MCA, MBA, MA, BBA, and many more, which are offered on the basis of merit and entrance.
