Review of Central University of Karnataka.

Placements: Placement offers, as we talked about before, were not up to par for engineering students. But analyzing development every year. A new placement cell has been constructed. Teachers are improving. And seeing the trend, I guess placement will be around 5 LPA average for B.Tech EE.

Infrastructure: Full-fledged with super-duper wi-fi in the campus building as well as hostel facilities. I assure you, the food quality is good. But it is not at all tasty. Indoor games like table tennis and badminton are there with proper courts. The canteen is present but the food is not up to mark. Average medical facilities are also there.

Faculty: Exams are not very difficult but they are not a light tea. It needs attention in the classroom and regular updates to the syllabus. The failure percentage is very low; most students pass the examination. But the 75 percent criteria is sometimes followed so beware of attendance .

You can choose this college with comparison to other state and private colleges.

Placements: Here placements are average. Approximately 40 percent got placed this year. Average package offered is INR 5 lacs. Placement cell is quite good. They will teach you how to present yourself in front of the recruiters and also give you information regarding off campus or on campus placement even if you are a passout.

Infrastructure: Hostel are pretty good, specially the amarja hostel. You will get 24\7 Wi-Fi, marble floor, hot water, time to time cleaning and well cleaned bathrooms and toilet. Cctv coverage and 24\7 availability of security guard in front of every hostel. Only one drawback is that the hostel is approximately 800 miles far from the department but electric vehicle comes to take students at 10 am and 1 pm.

Faculty: Faculty is decent, as you know in every engineering college you have to learn yourself but here faculty is damn supportive. They will provide you with every pdf of the chapter. Examinations are damn strict, they don't, even let you turn your head. Here examination timing is for 2 hours. Computer lab and electrical lab are also available and there faculty are damn strict. They will take practical exam and viva very strictly.

Other: Compared to other private colleges, you can definitely choose this one. You will get a view of the whole india here because all the students belong to different parts of india.

Average college life with weak faculty but manageable academics.

Placements: As per my point of view, average. College from a placement point of view. Minimum package is 2-3 LPA. The highest is 7-8 LPA. Around 50-60% students can get placement. Top recruiting companies are like local industries and service-based companies. Roles offered are mainly lab assistant, electrical engineer, and graduate engineer.

Infrastructure: The college has average infrastructure with basic facilities like classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, and a library available for students. Hostel facilities are manageable, rooms are decent, and Wi-Fi works in some areas. Mess food quality is average, neither too good nor too bad. Local students get more advantages from these facilities. Sports are available in limited quantities.

Faculty: Honestly speaking, very bad faculty behaviour, no one is supportive, everyone teases students, local teachers support their local students. They are not supportive of any startup idea. The course curriculum is relevant, but we are not getting any experience. Exams are good and difficult. An assignment is given for every chapter.
