Institute has a well supported campus with facilities such as Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, Hospital / Medical Facilities, Hostel, Library, Shuttle Service.

A major concern about CUK for admission is the geographical placement of the University. The University is located in Srinagar and offers great set of courses along with placement opportunities and assistance. Apart from this, the University also offers scholarships for eligible candidates with technologically advanced infrastructure. It follows a Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) for the evaluation of all UG and PG programmes.

The University has not released the separate placement data for BSc. However, the combined placement details for UG (3-year) courses has been released. Out of 56 UG (3-year) graduates 32 were placed during 2022 placements. In 2021, out of 49 students 10 were placed successfully. Admission to CU Kashmir includes merit and entrance based eligibility criteria. Candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 along with valid scores in CUET UG/PG for the admission to UG and PG level courses. Furthermore, candidates must apply through the official website of the University. Shortlisted candidates must pay the fees and confirm the seat.

The University was established as the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir. It was established along with 15 other Central Universities by an Act of Parliament in 2009. The University has been granted 503+ acres of land during its establishment by the state government. CUK has 21 schools and 21 constituent teaching departments. These establishments offer 40+ PG, UG, Diploma, Research, and Vocational programmes.

Central University of Kashmir (CUK) is expected to release the CUET 2024 cutoff list by the end of July 2024. The cutoff list will be available on the CUK official website, cukashmir.ac.in.

The CUET 2024 UG exam was held between May 15 and June 31, 2024. 

A 60 percentile is considered a passing percentile. A percentile above 80 or 90 will get you a good-ranked college.

The expected cutoff for CUET 2024 for courses like BA LLB is around 70 to 60. For BSc courses like Mathematics, and Biotechnology, the expected cut off is 45 to 20 and 20 to 30 respectively.

The cut off for CUET 2024 for courses like MA in English, B.Ed + M. Ed, MSc in Botany, and MA in Political Science is likely to be 150+.

The Central University of Kashmir is a public university established in 2009. It is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a "B+" grade. The university offers undergraduate admissions in various streams, including science, technology, education, social sciences, business administration, and computer application. 

The university is located in District Ganderbal of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir (J&K). It is spread across four different campuses in the district.

Admission to Central University of Kashmir is offered on the basis of merit and CUET-UG/PG. Candidates appearing for UG level courses must secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 to be eligible for further shortlisting process. Furthermore, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in Class 12 and meet the cutoff in CUET UG for final admission.
