It is awesome because of the teaching faculty members in 2019 and the good learning atmosphere.

Placements: There are about 30 students in our batch. It offers various courses, and every semester comprises 5 courses. Due to Coronavirus, we did not get an internship. But central university is growing so fast and will become the number 1 institution of Jammu and Kashmir very soon.

Infrastructure: The central university is in the process of establishment, and there is no availability of hostel facilities. It has a good library. It has a little place for a playground and is not well established at its own place named Tulmulla Ganderbal. The seating arrangement on the ground is not well.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and their teaching quality is awesome. Semester exams are tough. About 50% is required to pass each course. The course curriculum is very good, and it makes students ready for industry and for any competitive exams.

Other: I have chosen this college because it is growing day by day, and one day it will become a leading institution in Jammu and Kashmir.

Review of Central University of Kashmir (CUK).

Placements: I completed my M.Sc. Mathematics in Central University of Kashmir in 2017. I joined the police department in 2018 and the salary offered is nearly Rs. 50,000 per month. Almost all the students of our batch are settled except for 2 or 3. The overall placement rate of the course remains satisfactory. But there is no placement cell in this university. The university has rented buildings.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this university is good but is rented. The university does not have any permanent place yet. Wi-Fi facility is available here. Classrooms are well maintained. The library is enough updated. Students can also take part in tournaments. There is a huge canteen with the latest technology and accessibility.

Faculty: The teachers of this university are well qualified, knowledgeable and friendly. The teaching methods used by them are very good. There are enough staff members in every branch. I would rate 5 out of 5 to our teaching staff as they helped a lot during my course period. I want to suggest this university to everyone.

Other: The college students participate in sports events, festivals, and informative programs. The university conducts many extracurricular activities also.

The college, where you are your own master.

Placements: The Central University Media Studies department may not have been well-furnished at the moment, but improvements were expected in the coming years. If you had a strong interest in academics, please don't hesitated to apply. Regarding job placements, your success largely depended on your own skills. The department offered opportunities for internships, but keep in mind that these internships typically lasted for only one month.

Infrastructure: You had access to several facilities, including a reading room, library, Wi-Fi, camera operations, filmmaking resources, and community radio. While there was no hostel facility on campus, this was not a major concern since there were many private hostels nearby that were very affordable. Additionally, there were several canteens outside the university, and the food they offered was quite good. The university also provided medical facilities at no cost to students. Each year, the college organized a sports competition, which featured events such as cricket or football.

Faculty: Teachers were highly qualified, friendly, and supportive. To pass, you needed to score at least 30 marks on each paper. Exams were not particularly difficult if you paid attention in class. The key to success was to make notes, revise regularly, and stay focused. You had at least three tests each month, and if you performed well in these tests, you didn't need to worry too much about the final exam, as you had already covered the syllabus through the class tests.

Other: If you believed you had stories to share and a keen interest in news, then this course was for you. It was important to develop a variety of skills, such as video editing, filming, and text editing. If you came from an underrepresented community, you were eligible for scholarships. At the university, you also had many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities.

Satisfied, good faculty, but no placements for this course.

Placements: At least 40-50 students were placed. The lowest package was ₹15,000, and the highest was ₹30,000. About 70% of teachers got jobs in schools, tuitions, and other courses. There are no placements available for government jobs, but private jobs are available with the lowest package.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure were good. For example, the library is well-developed, and Wi-Fi is accessible within the college. The hostel is a bit far from the university, and the food in the canteen is good. Medical facilities are available, and there are excellent grounds for playing cricket.

Faculty: The faculty is excellent. Qualified teachers are available for almost every course, and the teachers here are the best. Semester exams are generally fine, with a passing percentage of 70% or above. With the guidance of teachers, the exams are easier to pass, but the checking is strict.

Our college is good in all aspects.

Placements: Around 30% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Lalit Hotel, Jio, etc. Around 15% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides good facilities. The hostel is good. They provide single rooms. Outsiders are not available in the hostel. The food served in the hostel is good.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. They are good and well-qualified. The course curriculum is good. It makes students industry-ready. Exams are not difficult. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I opted for this course to become a teacher. The course is easy and provides good knowledge. The course is for 3 years. It is an affordable college.

I am glad to provide you with my feedback about the college.

Placements: More than 65% of students were assigned to courses. The median package offered to PG (2-year) students has improved year by year from the 2018 to 2020 drive. Top recruiting companies such as Amazon, HCL Technologies, ICICI Bank, ITC Limited, etc. A large share of them is involved in the education sector.

Infrastructure: Our college has all the necessary facilities like big-sized classrooms with ventilated air-conditioning as well as free Wi-Fi support. All these facilities are well maintained, including the libraries, sports clubs, and labs.

Faculty: Our teachers are very knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is good. The teaching quality is also very good, and the course curriculum is structured in such a way that students are briefly ready for industry. Teachers in our college are well-educated, and very helpful, and they always support their students in their studies. All the subjects that the course offers are very interesting for students who want to pursue higher degrees.
