The University was established as the Central University of Jammu and Kashmir. It was established along with 15 other Central Universities by an Act of Parliament in 2009. The University has been granted 503+ acres of land during its establishment by the state government. CUK has 21 schools and 21 constituent teaching departments. If students want to make a career in chemistry, I would not recommend them to join this institute.

Placements: There are no opportunities for placements after a master's in chemistry at Central University of Kashmir. No recruiting companies visit here to offer placements in this course. However, if any student qualifies for the GATE examination, he or she may get a placement opportunity.

Infrastructure: Some basic facilities, like the internet, are available. Library facilities are also available, but only during office hours. It would be better if library facilities were available 24X7. There is no hostel facility. Very few medical facilities are possible.

Faculty: In terms of knowledge and skills, teachers are below average. They are the main problem in M.Sc. Chemistry. Apart from studies, some teachers are very helpful. The course curriculum is relevant to the field. Semester examinations are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is 50%.

Other: Our campus has a peaceful and good environment. The campus is not crowded.

I would recommend chemistry aspirants to join this college for the M.Sc. chemistry course.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements after completing this course. Top companies won't visit our college to students. There may be a chance of placement if a student qualifies for CSIR, NET, and JRF.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. The library facilities are very good. The library is filled with books. Our college has browsing centers. Wi-Fi is available 24X7 in our college. Classrooms are well-ventilated. Our classrooms are smart. There is no hostel facility available in our college.

Faculty: Faculty members are average in terms of knowledge. Some faculty members are very helpful. Their teaching quality is good. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: Our campus is good and silent. The environment of our college is cool and peaceful. Our campus crowd is not much.

I am glad to be a part of this university.

Placements: Nearly 60% of students got a satisfactory job after completion of the degree. Average students are placed in the civil department. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000-35,000 per month. The remaining 40% are either placed in the private sector or stated their own business. Nearly all the students got internships from college. There is no placement cell in this university.

Infrastructure: The university has its actual location in Ganderbal. But the university runs on rented buildings with A+ facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, library, sports and gaming equipment. There is a huge and updated library. Classrooms are too good. There is a huge canteen where a variety of dishes either vegetarian or non-vegetarian are available.

Faculty: Teaching staff members in our college are well educated and have full knowledge of their subjects. Staff members are well dedicated and helpful. They used simple and understandable techniques to teach the subjects. We get a huge exposure during the course.

Other: Connectivity is good. The college offers an eco-friendly environment. The university also takes part in many extracurricular activities. We get a very well-defined industry exposure during the stay.

The teacher and the infrastructure was absolutely best and I prefer other to go and do elweel.

Placements: I studied from Islamia College and like particular tier are no company for job but one could apply for teacher post and work as teacher and almost 10 students from batch every year get scholarship and I was one among them and obviously it helped me to grow in my feild.

Infrastructure: The campus of college was definitely good. Be it the washrooms facility of drinking water. Also the ground was big enough for students to enjoy in free time also library with almlsy all kind of books helped students to not only focus on studies but to improve once life.

Faculty: Initially I was not interested for the course I only joined because of my friends but as the time passed the professor over their were so friendly and that's why I developed interest and excled and they always provided help and guidance for do good .

Other: The Best thing according to me for the course was I was already familiar about ab the context due to my class 12th. Subject and also I wish more digital call could improve in the course. Otherwise our campus had well connectivity and was best for everyone .
