Good faculty members with some of them teaching their own journals.
Placements: The college arranged placements at the end of the second year. The teachers gave us recommendation letters and on the basis of self merit, the selections were done. Various well-known organizations and companies came to interview like National Geographic, Animal Planet, Zoology and Botany departments of India. The average package offered was Rs.10 Lacs per annum with 75% of the students getting placed.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good and has rooms with large space. Only 2 students are there in a room, each having their own bed, table, chair, cupboard, etc. The bathrooms are always neat and clean. They clean the hostel regularly. The mess and kitchen area are also kept neat. The food quality is nice. Some food items are not so tasty but still better than many other hostels. The fee is affordable and the registration process is easy, it’s done at the time of the admission itself. Wi-Fi facility is provided for free. Cultural activities are also there in the hostel. The hostel Fee is INR 12000 per year.
Faculty: It was a two-years course and we had semester-based examinations. The externals were taken at the end of each semester along with the internals which were conducted 20 days prior to the externals. The practicals were conducted in the laboratories along with the external examinations. The curriculum was easy and we also had to submit project reports at the year’s end. The class size was of 45 students and the course fee was INR 17000 per year.
