Training and development is good here.
Placements: The college provides both internship and job placement opportunities for students, but the opportunities are limited. Only around 50% of students get placed, with an average package of approximately 2 LPA. Government agencies and agricultural companies are among the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: The university has dedicated sports grounds and also offers medical camps along with other recreational activities. The hostel provides basic amenities like beds, and the food quality is quite decent for the fees charged. The department has well-equipped classrooms with good seating arrangements.
Faculty: The teachers and curriculum are very well-structured. They focus on explaining the basics as well as complex concepts in a simplified manner. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced, and most of them are very supportive. The exams can be challenging, with a passing rate of around 70%.
