Central University of Punjab MBA Courses & Fees 2025: Admission, CUET PG, Selection & Eligibility Criteria

Central University of Punjab MBA admission mainly includes the CUET PG exam's elements, as the PG admission is entirely based on the CUET PG exam. Therefore, candidates must follow all the steps involved in CUET PG (Common University Entrance Test). Find below the step-wise Central University of Punjab admission process:

Step 1: Central University of Punjab CUET PG Registration 2025

The 2025 application process for admission to the Central University of Punjab for MBA starts with the registration process of CUET PG. The first step is to register for the CUET PG by visiting the official website of the exam. CUET PG registration is an online process. Candidates willing to appear for the exam must fill out the CUET PG application form on the NTA website. After registering and paying the application fee, candidates have to wait for the admit cards and the exam dates to be released.

Step 2: Counselling Process

The counselling process for the MBA course will be conducted by the Central University of Punjab. The candidate is required to fill out an application Form separately to participate in the counselling of the Central University of Punjab. The detailed schedule and modalities of online counseling, including application forms, shall be posted on the University website after the declaration of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) result. Depending on the availability of vacant seats at that particular university for any course, the MBA 2025 counselling rounds will vary.

Step 3: Seat Allocations

Central University of Punjab MBA seats will be allocated based on their CUET PG ranking and also on the available seats at the University. A candidate with a higher CUET PG 2024 cutoff will be given a higher priority than a candidate with a lower cutoff. Upon acceptance into a college and program, students must pay the admission fee.

The seats for many of the courses might get vacant because the candidates got upgraded to other courses or might leave the seat, which causes the conduction of one more round, which is called Spot Round/ Direct Admissioln. Those who would not be allotted a seat in the original counselling rounds can participate in the spot counselling by registering on the official websites of the Central University of Punjab.

Step 4: Final Seat Confirmation by Candidates

Next, students must pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seats. The Central University of Punjab MBA fee is around INR 8,000 for two years. The tuition fee does not include the CUET PG application fee and the hostel fees. The schedule of Registration and Orientation is notified later on, after the declaration of CUET results.

The scheme aims to exploit the immense potential of students as a valuable human resource and provide students hands on experience and thereby prepare them for jobs in the future. Students who have registered in CUPB for any programme are eligible to apply for the Central University of Punjab Scholarship scheme. Some of the part-time jobs students can do under the scheme are as assistants in the library, laboratory, computer centre, and store.
