I was looking for a good university for the UID - Industrial Design course, and I came across Chandigarh University. However, they also tend to have higher cutoffs, limited seats, and sometimes higher tuition costs—plus, hostel and living expenses in Bangalore are significantly more than in Punjab. On the flip side, Chandigarh University (CU) has been rapidly rising in rankings, and its CSE department is ABET and NBA accredited, which is a big deal for any engineering program.
