Students at Chandigarh University's Animation department are introduced to a wide variety of creative and technical software. They learn Corel Draw for graphic designing, Adobe Premiere and After Effects for video editing and motion graphics, and Maya and 3ds Max for 3D animation and modeling. For special effects, programs like ZBrush and Houdini are included, giving students the ability to create realistic simulations like fire, water, and explosions. The university also emphasizes audio-visual tools, so students get exposure to Sound Forge for audio editing. The main goal is practical learning, so each software is applied in real projects, games, or simulations. By mastering these tools, students can confidently take on roles in animation studios, gaming companies, VFX projects, or advertising agencies, making them industry-ready right after graduation.
