Chitkara University MBA Courses & Fees 2026: Placement, Admission & Eligibility

Chitkara University MBA course admissions are decided by the scores obtained by a candidate in their chosen MBA entrance exam, accepted by the University. For Chitkara University admissions, candidates can either appear for the national level management exams or the entrance exam conducted by the university itself.

1: Registration the Entrance Exam

The first step in the Chitkara University admission process is the registration of a cadidate in their chosen entrance exam. For national level entrance exams such as the CAT, CMAT, MAT, etc., candidates must visit the official portal of NTA for the respective exam and then follow the directions provided in the announcement circular. Below are the steps of application:-

1.1: Go to the website of Chitkara University and click on the admissions tab. https://www.chitkara.edu.in/

1.2: Fill in the registration form with your personal and qualifying details

1.3: Attach all necessary documents and pay the Chitkara University MBA application fees.

The following documents might be required at the time of application:

• Certificates along with mark sheets of both Class 10 & 12
• Graduation certificate along with mark sheets
• Proof of both ID and address
• Passport-size photographs
• Character certificate
• Migration certificate
• Domicile certificate
• Attested copies of birth certificate and last qualifying examination
• Attested copies of any other necessary document required (SC/ ST/ OBC certificate etc.)

2: Counseling Rounds and Personal Interview

If they receive a suitable rank on the selected exam, candidates taking national level entrance exams (CAT, MAT, NMAT, XAT, or CMAT) will be invited to the counseling rounds. Candidates must reserve their MBA course campus during the counseling rounds. If their application is accepted, candidates who pass the counseling rounds will be contacted for the in-person interview phase. If they pass the qualifying exam, candidates who took the Chitkara University entrance exam will go straight to the personal interview round.

3: Confirmation of Admissions

After the personal interview round is over, the candidates who are shortlisted will be alloted a seat in their chosen MBA course at Chitkara University. To confirm the admission, candidates must pay the MBA admission fees. Generally, the MBA admission fees is a small portion of the total tuition fee for the chosen MBA course. The total tuition fee for MBA courses ranges between INR 3.3 lakh - INR 9 lakh.
