They don't have a set cut off, a lot depends on your interview, for argument's sake consider the cut off to be around 75%. The eligibility requirement is a Bachelor's degree with 50% marks. The entrance exam tests candidates on their aptitude, knowledge of current affairs, and reasoning ability. Christ University Entrance Test / Skill Assessment (The skill assessment will consist of a test on written skills, communication skills and logical reasoning).

Admission to most Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses is based on CUET (Christ University Entrance Test) conducted by Christ Deemed-to-be University, Department of Media Studies.Apart from CMAT Christ University, Institute of Management also accepts ATMA/GRE/GMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT scores. Undergraduate with 50% in all the subjects including language.

The office awards scholarships for Merit and for Sports, Co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Merit Scholarship: A student with a brilliant academic record, having secured First Class in all the previous semesters with a minimum 70% aggregate marks and a minimum of 85% attendance is eligible to apply.

Christ University offers seats to candidates based on entrance exam score of the candidates. The university conducts Christ University Entrance Test for admission to courses such as BSc, BTech, BBA, BCom, etc. Besides, the university also considers scores in national-level entrance exams such as XAT, CAT, NATA, etc. for admission to specific courses. Christ University offers decent placements annually for course like MBA, BBA, MCA, etc. As per the latest report, 4065 students were placed during Christ University placements 2025, of which 2495 were from the UG programs and 1570 from the PG programs. The highest and the average package offered to the batch 2025 was INR 32 LPA and INR 7 LPA.

The highest salary package offered to students at Christ-Kengeri Campus is 21.5 Lacs per annum. The median package offered to students is estimated at 4.8 Lakhs per annum. Many companies come to this University for placements. Some of the examples are Tech Mahindra, Cisco, Newtronics, Epsilon, TCS. All specialisations have good placement opportunities and there are openings for students from all specifications that they can attend. The University has a well organised and proactive placement support. One disadvantage is that the University offers very less placements for B.Tech in civil engineering.
