Christ University, central campus.
Placements: The placement cell in my course is very active. This year, many top companies like DeShaw and Deloitte visited our campus for summer internships. Top roles offered in our course are mostly related to marketing, human resources or data analysis. The placement cell contacts the companies on its own, and then multiple rounds, like interviews, group discussions, etc., are conducted. Overall, I feel that the opportunities that you get here are amazing, and you get to network with people working in top companies, which gives you enough exposure to carve a path for yourself.
Infrastructure: The classroom is fully equipped with projectors, and the campus has its own library facilities, labs and Wi-Fi. We have a separate block allotted to sports and games, where there is a multitude of games that one can play and at the same time, great medical facilities in times of sickness or injuries. Lastly, there are multiple canteens across the campus offering a vast array of food choices, and the quality of food is very good.
Faculty: The faculty members in my course are very approachable and helpful. We can visit them any time if we have any doubts related to our subjects or even outside of them. The course teaches us relevant topics that are currently needed for the jobs that we will be applying for. They focus on holistic development, so we even learn subjects like leadership skills and digital literacy. Lastly, for exams, we have CIA's, mid-semester and end-of-semester.

Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology, English - Batch of 2027

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Our class has 92 students. Placements are not guaranteed. We will be provided an option to go for on-field research and internship programs. Proper mentorship is given to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is new. The building is in pristine condition. Classrooms are spacious, with comfortable seating and proper ventilation. The canteen has multiple food options. Hygiene is excellent, and healthcare is well taken care of.
Faculty: Professors are dedicated. They share material for exams. We are given practical assignments to hone our real-life skills. Semester exams are difficult. You must have 85% attendance to appear for exams.
Other: Psychology is an emerging field in the rapidly modernizing world. It has broad career opportunities. Communication plays a key role in psychology. Thus, English tags along as an instrumental approach. Multiple events are conducted throughout the year. Students are given various opportunities to represent themselves.

Faculty behaviour not appreciated.
Placements: I did not have orientation related to placements, and I barely think that for my course I will get a good enough placement after B.A. Psych requires experience. We have done media and psych internships on our own last semester during the summer break.
Infrastructure: We have media labs and psychology labs to perform experiments and have a better understanding of the course. Food in the mess is affordable and good, we have a turf too which right now is working as a multi purpose ground, as our college is pretty new right now.
Faculty: Faculty for psych isn't good, it's hard to understand and then prepare ourselves for the exam as we are not getting any proper study material also. The semester exams are difficult and many subjective questions are also asked which helps us to gain an insight of the subject.
Other: I thought psych and communication media will be a good contrast. If we get good faculty it will work out well. We have many events oike darpan, blossoms and fests are always happening from every departments, its very happening after college.

There is a shortage of faculty for media-related courses.
Placements: In my course, only a handful of students get placed, approximately 10–15 students. The highest placement can go up to 12 LPA, and the lowest can go down to 5 LPA. Deloitte is one of the recruiters. Our course doesn’t offer any internships, so no one gets any through the college. We have to look for internships ourselves. The top roles include content writers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice with all facilities provided to us. Rooms in hostels are limited, so most students stay in PGs. But the infrastructure for medical facilities, sports, and games is top-notch. The food provided is also on the healthier side. There is a strict curfew which is for hostel students.
Faculty: For our course, faculty is barely available, and the number of teachers to educate us is low. We are running short on teachers. For media, our course and the structure we follow are irrelevant. The college focuses more on theory than practical sessions, which makes it a bit difficult for us communication study students to apply later in jobs. We only have a few exams compared to other courses. The maximum number of exams we can have is 4. Apart from that, the exams are average, but a few psychology exams are hard. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course for psychology as I plan to study it further. I think having more interesting faculty and subjects would make the course more enjoyable and knowledgeable. Our course has Pratibimb (short movie festival), MediaMUN, etc.

Good facilities at Christ Yeshwanthpur campus .
Placements: Students often pursue their post graduation after this course. Though the placement cell of our campus is really active. This year the first psychology and English batch would be graduation from our campus. As far as, we have been told that the placement cell provides internship and job opportunities who are looking for it.
Infrastructure: We have neuroanatomy lab for psychology. Our library is well-equipped with academic and other books. The hostel is quite good, with spacious rooms and regular housekeeping. We are not allowed to keep food items in the hostel room. There is no mess facility in the hostel. Yet, the hostel life here is a one time experience .
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful. They use updated teaching methods. Recently, learner centric approach has been implement which is of great help. The quality of education in christ is really commendable. Teachers use power point presentations to explain the concepts.
Other: Psychology department is really good in this campus. The opportunities here are amazing.
