• Since, CSJMU is a government university, it has a low fee. The total tuition fee for BCA ranges between INR 90,000 and INR 2.4 lakh. 
• The university conducts placement drive every year. The placement drive 2023 concluded with more than 1,257 job offers made during CSJMU on-campus and off-campus drives 2023. Over 612 job offers were received on-campus and more than 645 job offers were attracted from the job fairs and pool drives.

Mean Based Scholarship: The scholarship is funded by the University’s distinguished alumni and philanthropic institutions. The scholarships offered to the wards with low annual parental income are 25-50 per cent of the annual fee depending upon the need of the students. Such candidates are required to provide an income certificate issued by the Tehsildar or the Magistrate.

Merit Based Scholarship: It is offered to the students who have secured a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate or CPI of 6.5 out of 10 in the previous qualifying exam. The names of the students for scholarships are finalised by the University Committee that comprises every year.

CSJMU offers BA LLB (Hons) course for a duration of five-years spread across ten semesters. Kanpur University offers BA LLB (Hons) course through Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Legal Studies and other affiliated colleges. The university accepts CUET-UG for providing admission to BA LLB (Hons) programme. Candidates need to complete Class 12 or equivalent examination with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for BA LLB (Hons) course.

The University has not released the separate placement data for BCA. As per the overall placement statistics, the median package offered to the 2022 passing out UG (3-year) batch was INR 2.40 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered to UG (3-year) students during 2021 CSJMU placements was INR 2.10 LPA. From 2020 to 2022, an improving trend was recorded in the median package for UG (3-year) courses, which is indicated in the table below:

The CSJMU UPTAC Cutoff is released for admission to BTech courses for various categories under the Home State quota. In 2021, the cutoff range was from 98162 to 818777 for the General category candidates under the Home State quota. BSc admissions at CSJM University are merit-based. Hence, no entrance exam is required. The university shortlists candidates based on their merit in Class 12. They must also meet the basic eligibility criteria specified by the univeristy and present the necessary documents supporting their eligibility. CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July 2026. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. CSJMU offers BDS course through UP NEET counselling process for which the eligibility criteria to appear in the counselling process should be with minimum 12th percentile of 50% for General, 40% for OBC, SC and ST candidates, and 45% for PWD candidates.
