B.Tech. in Mining Engineering - Batch of 2027

Best affordable college For engineering students.
Placements: In our college, 60 percent of students were placed from our course in B.Tech Mining, with companies like TCS, Adani, Tata, etc. recruiting, the highest package offered last year is 28 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 3–4 LPA, with top roles offered like assistant manager.
Infrastructure: The campus facilities include an auditorium, central library, free Wi-Fi for all students, well-maintained labs, and clean classrooms, the hostel facilities are good, the food quality is awesome, and sports facilities for football, cricket, etc., are also available.
Faculty: The teaching quality of this college is very good compared to many other private institutes, with teachers well-qualified from renowned universities like NITs and some from IITs, semester exams are of moderate level, and the passing ratio of students is 70 percent plus.
Other: In Chhattisgarh, this is the best private college for B. Tech Mining, which motivated me to join, sometimes they put pressure on students for submission of projects and assignments, and events and fests are celebrated in a well-mannered way at the end of every year, with scholarships and extracurricular activities offered to interested students.

Best quality education at affordable price.
Placements: I am currently studying in 3rd year. Last year, around 80 percent of students are placed. The highest package offered is 28 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The average package goes around 3 to 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, etc. Many students got internships in NITs, BSNL, etc. Top roles offered include project manager.
Infrastructure: The facilities in this institute are awesome. We can see the campus is full of greenery and peaceful. All the departments are divided into different blocks. Wi-Fi is free for all students. Labs are well maintained, but classrooms are not good in my experience. Hostel facility is quite enough, and food quality is good. Campus has a canteen and other shops also.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and friendly. Some of the professors are highly qualified from NITs and IITs. They clear the students’ doubts instantly. Their way of teaching is very good, they connect with students, improving their weaknesses for better jobs. Semester exams are moderate in this college, and around 70 percent of students pass without backlog.
Other: I have chosen this course to achieve my goal. The best thing about this course is that it keeps us always updated with the technologies. I would suggest adding some real examples in this course. Events are not fixed, but fests are organized every end of 1st year. The crowd is awesome. Scholarship policy is available here. For extra activities, there is a special department in the institute.

A brief about my MBA from Bhilai Institute of Technology, Durg.
Placements: The average placement is 3 LPA-4 LPA, and the highest package is 9 LPA-10 LPA. Companies like Career Mantra, Fundroom, Corizo, Intellipat, Academor, Afcons Infrastructure, Home First Finance, Stratview Research, Bajaj Allianz, Tube Investment, Emipro Technologies, ESAF Small Finance, TCS, Haleon, Solarsquare, Bhanzu, Shriram Finance, Berger Paints, Rinex, Dhanguard, Jaro Education, Nipon, TTEC, Gradguru, Vrize, Planet Park, Yugasa Software, Express Tradecom, VENSI, Manorma Industries, JK Lakshmi, Radio Mirchi, Gradguru, etc., visited. Some banks like ICICI Prudential, HDFC, and Axis also visited.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and greenery are quite impressive. The library is huge and accessible during college hours. I was not living in the hostel, so I don't know more about that. Wi-Fi is such trash, it is literally of no use.
Faculty: Teaching quality is a solid 10/10 as faculty members are experienced and helpful, and they also use to provide the notes by themselves only. Each semester has 2 class tests for 40 & 60 marks, with one final semester exam. However, somewhere, practical experience during the course is missing, the curriculum is 6/10. Faculty members are experienced and helpful.
Other: As per my experience, the teaching style can be improved, and practical exposure should be provided to the students. There is no industrial visit, no internship opportunity provided by the college. Scholarship is available for the ST/ST/EWS quota, for which certain conditions have to be fulfilled. The campus crowd was decent. However, I feel like there is only one fest that is Ojas, which was okay-okay only. Clubs are there, but for specifically management students, there is only one club. Extracurricular activities are not much, as I'll rate it as 5/10, and for sports, I'll rate it as 4/10.

B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2025

The college is decent, with supportive faculty and departments. It is value for money.
Placements: There are placements, but they are not up to the mark when compared to the total number of students graduated. Faculty members promise 100 percent placement when you take admission into this college, but providing placement to even 200 graduates out of 1000 cannot be called 100% placement.
Infrastructure: Hostels are decent. There is a separate hostel for freshers and another for seniors, so there is no ragging in this college. You share a room with 2-3 people in the first year, and from the second year, 2 people occupy one room. However, most students shift outside the campus to PGs, flats, etc., after the first year.
Faculty: Faculty members and departments are always supportive. Curriculum is provided on time, and the syllabus is up to date. The biggest problem here is the uncertainty of exam dates. They are unannounced, usually late, and results are also declared very late.

This college is good for engineering.
Placements: I am Yash Chandra, studying in SSTC, doing B.Tech in CSE (AIML). I chose this subject because of AI development in the future. The average package was 4 LPA in several companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc., which is good. You can choose this college for a better future with government jobs if you top this university.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. There is good availability of Wi-Fi, cleanliness of rooms, the mess food is okay, and the hostel is also good. There are also medical facilities available in our hostel as well as in college, and indoor game equipment is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful as well as supportive in exams and for projects. Semester exams are difficult for those who don't study, and competition between students is also high! There are 2 CT exams and 14 passing marks in each, then mid-semester!

Not recommend, because I want to get out of here.
Placements: Only about 20% of students got placed, mostly from electronics and mechanical branches. In our course, the highest package a senior got recently is 6 LPA. 10% of students got internships from our course, mostly at IIIT, Naya Raipur, IITs, or PSUs, and some worked at companies by college alumni. Basically roles of developer and electronics engineers are required.
Infrastructure: There are AC classrooms with smart boards. We have average Wi-Fi. We have one of the best libraries for a college. Hostel opened recently with good facilities. It has good mess. There is a canteen in college, and also a food franchise called tech cafe is also there. We have a basketball court, a football playground, a cricket playground, and a tennis table court. Aayam is the sports fest conducted every year.
Faculty: I will say good faculty members, not the best, not like IITs, NITs, but they are teaching something atleast. The curriculum is good I think. It may help in making industry-ready, if followed properly. Exams are not difficult. They are fine, depending on the subject, but the checking at university is not good. Their management is not good. I will blame the university for a very poor pass percentage.
Other: I wanted to pursue ETNT and thought this was the best place. If they sought out the answers to the sheet marking problem, then it's good. Events happen occasionally. It provides good scholarships and fine extracurricular activities.
