CUSAT is an autonomous university owned by the state government. CUSAT has been ranked 34 among the top Universities in India and 51 in the Overall category by NIRF 2024. The CUSAT DAT Cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to the M.Tech programmes. CUSAT conducts CAT (Common Admission Test) for admissions to programmes like Law, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Marine Sciences, Humanities, Science, Medical Sciences & Technology, and Social Sciences and Technology.
