It is a good college with good environment.
Placements: Course in which I enrolled there is no option of placements so don't know about it. In other courses there is the highest package of 17 Lacs to 20 Lacs in MBA or B Tech and minimum package is 4 Lacs. No all students get placements. Placements are very rare.
Infrastructure: Hostel is good but there is a major issue of food. Food quality is not good. I am not a hosteler but my friends who lives in hostel tells about it. If you are taking admission in hostel then keep it in mind that there is no good food and also hostel fees is not value for money.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, course curriculum is good and exam level is not so easy and not so hard as well. Teachers are very helpful and supportive. All teachers are well educated and have good teaching skills. Lectures time is very long we get free about 4:30 in evening.
Other: Festivals and other activities celebrations are good.

Our college value for money with good placements.
Placements: If the students have qualities and skills then they could easily get placed. I got placed in 2 companies as a fresher with the highest salary package of 4.08 LPA. A lot of companies like Ford, IDS infotech, Wipro, Just dial, and a lot of companies recruit students.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of equipment and instruments in the labs. Teachers give hands-on experience to get skilled. Food in the hostel is the worst. Medical facilities are average with an ambulance service but not a doctor. Sports were awesome as the events take place after a few months. Teams of colleges represent in inter-college competitions.
Faculty: There were highly educated teachers, who explains everything and helps in building up skills. These skills make students industry-ready.
Other: The best thing about the course is innovative and challenging. The fascinating and new world of microbes could be explored. The campus is too good, calm and green. People are quite interactive. Events boost the confidence of students to participate and enhance their leadership and communication skills.

Only place where I was disappointed with the placement.
Placements: Honestly, none of my courses got any placement. Not just from my batch but from my seniors as well. As this course was not a professional degree or professional course but still may be some career choices must be there after the course but it was not mentioned to students.
Infrastructure: There was 24 hour Wi-Fi, classrooms were well lit, and infrastructure like library, computer labs, and all were very well maintained. Talking about canteen, it's very hygienic. Sports and games sections were very perfectly done. Medical facilities were perfectly managed.
Faculty: Teachers were very qualified, experienced, and helpful. They were always there to help students in any possible way they could. They were always ready to help students in any possible way, whether it's by extra classes or personal doubt sessions but they never left a doubt.
Other: Reason behind my choosing the course was my interest in mathematics. Events in the university were nicely maintained.

    The college infrastructure is awesome.
Placements: 200 students in my course got placed. Seniors are very helpful, and juniors are well-behaved. There is no ragging on the campus. The management punishes the students if there is any ragging. 3 LPA is the minimum package offered.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi, excellent labs and classrooms with a beautiful atmosphere are available, and you can easily study there. The hostel management is excellent, and the mess food is really very tasty. The canteen also has lots of food items which are very delicious.
Faculty: The teaching quality is awesome, and the teachers are highly qualified. Most of the teachers have done PhDs from different institutes, and now, they are giving their best to make our future bright. The teachers are friendly. Semester exams are not so hard, but tricky questions are asked. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Because of my interest, I chose this course. The teaching and syllabus are the best parts of this course. Nothing should be changed in the course. I took part in sports events etc.

    The college is academically good.
Placements: Out of 26 students in our class, 4 students got placed in different companies. Only 10-12 students appeared for interviews or screening rounds as most of us wanted to study further. Placements have a few pros and cons. If you are an average student, you get placed. If you are fortunate, then the company tend some strings, and you won't even have to appear for the last semester of your degree. You can get placed immediately. It gives you exposure even if you are not interested in a job at that time. All of the companies were technical, and even if there were one or two biology background companies, they were only offering customer care centre or HR positions. The salary package offered is generally low, i.e., 1-2 LPA. B.Sc and M.Sc students would be competing for the same position, which is the biggest con because an M.Sc student is more qualified than a B.Sc student. Still, healthwise companies selected many B.Sc students than M.Sc. They held interviews on the campus.
Infrastructure: The hostel I lived in the last year was the campus basement hostel. During rainy days, it becomes a swimming pool of sewage water. I suggest not to even think about opting for a basement hostel if it is an option. There is a new hostel which is under construction for boys, and it looks good. I think if it is available, I suggest to choose it. Non-vegetarian is not allowed in hostels or on the campus, so I suggest to opt for a PG. Girls are not given freedom in campus hostels, so I suggest to apply for out campus hostels or better PGs. Academic buildings and auditorium are good structurally, and there is no problem. A day scholar would enjoy infrastructure, parking, etc.
Faculty: Biotechnology faculty members are mixed. Mostly, there are amazing teachers who taught us with patience and care. If you are a hard-working student or even average, you can succeed with only a little revision. Labs are great for B.Sc students, but if you want to pursue PhD or something else, then I suggest to opt for a state university.
Other: There are a lot of fests. Even in lockdown, we had a couple of events which are an amazing entertainment booster. We have a student council, which is supervised by the dean of student welfare which includes student heads of all the clubs. I was also a part of it.

It is the best university in Jalandhar.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students from physical education got placements. The average salary package offered here is up to 3 LPA-4 LPA. Top roles offered in our course are a coach, fitness trainer, PT teachers and yoga teachers. Four physical education courses, i.e., B.Sc, B.Ed, M.P.Ed and PhD are available in this university. Practical work provided here is more than bookish knowledge.
Infrastructure: The cafeteria is well maintained here. Our college has a canteen, gym, library and a playground for all games like kho-kho, running track, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball and badminton. There are well-maintained hostels with a clean and hygienic mess. There are a stationery shop, dispensary and gardens to relax and to have a good environment.
Faculty: Our college has PhD qualified staff members. They are friendly and have high knowledge and capability. They motivate students so that students can understand the concept in the best possible manner. Our university also provides every possible facility regarding the course.
Other: I have chosen this course because, in this course, students can gain more practical exposure rather than bookish knowledge. Sometimes our college management is poor, and teachers should focus more on promoting activities rather than focusing on students.

Simple path: apply online on the university portal, upload documents, pay the application fee, and submit your Class 12 / relevant entrance (JEE/CLAT/CUET/CAT etc.) scores. Many UG programmes admit on merit (Class 12); PG courses may need internal tests/interviews. Keep ready: marksheets, migration,
