Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) was founded by the Haryana State Legislature Act No. 29 of 2006 and is recognised under 12 (B) of the UGC Act, 1956. Came into existence in 2006, the University was formerly known as Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering, (1987-2006). The university was accredited by the NAAC with ‘A’ Grade and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is a member of various professional bodies such as the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), International Road Federation (IRF) and Indian Road Congress (IRC), among others.DCRUST offers UG, PG, and PhD courses.

DCRUST M.Tech eligibility criteria 2023 for a candidate are:

• A candidate should have a minimum of 50% marks in B.E or B.E. Tech or M.Sc or MCA in relevant subjects and 47.50% marks for SC/ Physically Handicapped.
• The candidate must have qualified for the entrance examination conducted by the university or GATE examination.

B.Ed Eligibility Criteria 2023

DCRUST B.Ed eligibility criteria 2023 for a candidate are:

• A candidate with a minimum of 50% marks and 47.5% in case, the candidate is from SC or ST or Blind or Visually and Differently Abled of Haryana only either in the Bachelor Degree and/ or in the Master’s Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanity.
• A candidate with a Bachelor in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks and 52.25% in the case of SC or ST or Blind or Visually and Differently abled of Haryana only or any other equivalent qualification. 

So, according to that, you can get into DCRUST with 70% in class 12th.

Students willing to submit their application for admission at DCRUST can do so online. Students must note that the application fee can be paid in online mode only via State Bank Collect. The University will not accept any mode of payment. For general category students who are applying for admission at DCRUST are required to pay INR 1000 as an application fee. Students from a reserved category, who are willing to apply for admission at DCRUST Sonepat are required to pay INR 250. The application fee for counselling for BTech and BArch courses at DCRUST Sonepat is INR 1000.

Scholarship 1: M.Vishvesvariya Scholarship

Scholarship 4 Merit Scholarship:
Merit Scholarship at the rate of INR. 600/- per semester to 10% top students of each discipline on the basis of University examination Result will be given.
