Desh Bhagat University admission criteria is a blend of merit and entrance basis depending on the programme. Candidates need to fulfil the preset criteria to get into the university. The eligibility varies depending on the programme and course level. For example, UG admissions are done on the basis of Class 12 scores, while PG admissions need graduation. Desh Bhagat University has not yet published the placement statistics for the BPharm course. However, the NIRF report for the year 2024 is available. As per that, a total of 42 UG-four year students were placed during the 2023 placements. Moreover, the median package offered during this DBU placement drive stood at INR 3.2 LPA.

DBU offers a BCom programme with multiple exit options. Tabulated below is the point of time of exit and the corresponding degree:

• The students who complete one year and leave the programme will be awarded a Certificate in Commerce
• The students who complete two years/four semesters and leave the programme will be awarded a Diploma in Commerce.
• The students who successfully complete three years/six semesters and leave the programme will be awarded a BCom degree
• An option is given to the students to continue their education to the Fourth year and those who successfully complete four years/eight semesters will be awarded a BCom (Hons) degree
