Dibrugarh University offers admission to courses based on entrance and requires for candidates to secure valid scores in the accepted entrance exams. The University offers courses such as BSc, BTech, BPharma, BEd, MSc, MBA and many more in full-time and distant mode.

Admission to majority of UG level courses require for candidates to secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 and previous entrance examination. Dibrugarh University is a state-level public university established in 1965. The University is recognised by UGC and approved by AICTE and NCTE. Candidates must have a minimum overall score of 50% in their undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the appropriate topic from a recognised university in addition to receiving at least 50% marks in their honours/major subject in order to be eligible for the B.Ed programme at Dibrugarh University.
