Beautiful campus with an environment to study.
Placements: Multinational companies like Amazon, Orical and LBF come for campus recruitment, especially for students studying language courses. They offer an average annual package of 5-6 lacs per annum with extra benefits. Around 80% of the students get placed during their last semester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our university is very good and well-maintained. All the buildings are equipped with Wi-Fi, water filter, fire alarm and anti-earthquake design. Grounds and canteen are well-maintained and are taken care of. There is a hi-tech lab and a central library which are easy to access.
Faculty: A good number of faculty members are available for all courses and students. They are highly educated, and they all have cleared JRF at least. Teaching methods are unique; they use modern technology like projectors and multimedia labs. External faculty often visit our university and give us more exposure.
Other: We are likely to have around 5-7 fests in the university level and 20-30 fests in the overall department level. We have Friday lecture series in which highly-reputed people visit and share their views. We have regular sports events.

Doon University is the best for language course.
Placements: The university offered us a very good course in the language. It is very important to learn other languages and to know other cultures. The placements in Doon University are very good. Every year, jobs are provided to 100 students who are taking the language course. BBA and MBA have many jobs.
Infrastructure: The first thing comes to our mind about Doon University is its infrastructure. There are three buildings known as old LHC, new LHC, and a library building. There are 2 hostels, one for boys and another for girls. The boys' hostel has 205 rooms, and the mess of the hostel is modern.
Faculty: I am a language student. We have a total of five languages. Every language has an individual teacher. They are well-qualified, and Indian teachers are also well-qualified. The course curriculum is vast. There are a total of eight schools in Doon University, and a new course has been added.
Other: Every year, Doon University celebrates two festivals, Diwali and Holi. The university offers some scholarships to the students.

Doon University is a good platform to learn foreign languages.
Placements: Our college has a good placement record in the language department. Most of the students got placed in multinational companies, software development companies, and E-commerce. Also, the number of students on the campus getting selected for a foreign trip with scholarship is increasing day by day. Overall, the placement record on campus is good.
Infrastructure: According to the current scenario, the college is located in a hill station, and the buildings are good. Overall, the students who want to enjoy their college life can join this university. This university is achieving its goals, and it is good as per the government university standards.
Faculty: The faculty members and courses are the roots of this university. The faculty members from local and different states of India are available on the campus. Faculty members are helpful to students in every aspect. They will give special attention to students who want to study. Some faculty members are punctual in their work even at the age of retirement.
Other: A fest is organised on the campus, and it includes inter-college sports meet, Diwali fest, Holi fest and farewell.

Very good colleges in Dehradun.
Placements: The placements are not many, but good companies come to this college for placement like Amazon, IBM, and Wipro. The teachers are friendly and help the students to get placed in good companies. Our placement cell deal with external affairs to give the best placement to the students.
Infrastructure: Overall, the university is fully enabled with Wi-Fi including labs, classes, and hostel. All the classrooms contain projector. The library contains all types of books. A doctor is always available for the students, and many sports and games are there for the entertainment of the students.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful in the classroom or outside the classroom and always ready to help the students. The teachers are well-qualified in their field, very knowledgeable, and also spread their knowledge to the students. Their teaching quality is very nice. Their teachings are very friendly.
Other: Bazm is a fest where the students enjoy and entertained.

Is Doon University worth it?
Placements: At least 60% of the students get placements from the University. The highest package offered was 14 Lacs per annum. The lowest package offered was 6 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies were Amazon and Accenture. About 30% of the students get internships from our course.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure seems pretty good in my opinion. The University is covered with lush greenery all around. The facilities provided to our department are pretty good, with excellent lab facilities. Classrooms are a little disorganized but not too bad. Hostel facilities are pretty average in my opinion, with mess food being mediocre. Sports and games facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are plenty helpful with the teaching and are qualified. The teaching quality dropped compared to last year because of the new staff, but it is still pretty good. The course we have opted for is pretty relevant in my opinion and does make the students ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because I always had an interest in the Japanese language and realized that I had a talent for it. The best thing about our course is the knowledge part. We get to learn new things and new cultures, especially. I wish there were exchange teachers in our course from Japan. Extracurricular activities and fests are pretty mediocre in my opinion.
