BAOU provides a fee concession to female students. The total tuition fee for BA is INR 5,400 for male candidates and for female students is INR 3,600. Candidates wanting to take admission in certificate courses mus be Class 8 to Class 12 pass. The eligibility criteria varies from one specialisation to another. Aspirants who have passed class 12 or an equivalent exam from a recognised board are eligible to apply for a BA course in BAOU Ahmedabad. Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University admission to various programmes is done basis of merit except for PhD and MPhil. Candidates should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. Candidates can fill out the form online by visiting the official website of BAOU. The documents required during BAOU admissions include Class 10, and 12 mark sheets and certificates, Character certificates, Migration certificate, Graduation certificate (if required), Caste certificate, Passport size photograph, etc.
