The admission is based on the entrance exams, the university accepts CUET scores for admission. 
The university will release the cutoff according to the scores secured by the candidates in the entrance examination. Additionally, DHSGSU offers 75 seats in the programme and the university has central university status. Hence, admission to this course is competitive but with decent scores and hard work, candidates can easily get admission to this course.

1. Across multiple disciplines, more than 150 companies took part in campus placement drives at Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya. Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, and others were major recruiters.

• The average salary package was between 4.5 and 5 LPA, while the highest salary package offered in placements was 16 LPA.
• Employers such as Microsoft, Samsung R&D, Amazon, and others have held recruitment drives here in recent years.

College is brilliant but the placements are not so good.

About 30% of students got placed. The salary packages offered are not good. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs.15000 per month. Placements are not good, but the education provided by the college is very good.

Reputable companies are invited to participate in placement drives and internship fairs by the institution, which maintains a specialized placement cell. As a result, placement is an opportunity for both B.Sc. and M.Sc. students. At DHSGSU, M.Sc. students typically have better placements.
