To get admission to M.Tech. in Data Science at DTU, candidates must have a B.Tech/ B.E. Degree in CS/ CSE/ Computer Engineering/ CST/ CSD/ CS & IT/ SE/ IT/ IT&MI/ICT/ IS/ IC/ CS&CE/ MC/ ECE/ EEE/ CC/ MoC/ BDA/ DA/ IoT/DS/CyS/AI/ML/ CT/ Information Security. Alternatively, they can have an M.C.A or M.Sc. (CS/ CSE/ Computer Engineering/ CST/ CSD/ CS & IT/ SE/ IT/ Inf/ CC/MoC/ BDA/DA/IoT/DS/ CyS/AI/ML/ CTIS) (with Mathematics at B.Sc./B.C.A level). Admission is based on GATE score.

To get admission to M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at DTU, candidates can apply through GATE score or non-GATE category.
For GATE category:
1. Candidates must have a valid GATE score.
2. Admission will be based on the GATE score.
For non-GATE category:
1. Candidates without a valid GATE score can apply.
2. Admission will be based on a merit list prepared after an admission test conducted by DTU.
Eligibility criteria:

3. Admission test for non-GATE candidates will be on July 12, 2025.
4. First round of admission will be on July 18, 2025.
5. Candidates must report to the university with original documents and a bank draft for fee deposit.
