Gujarat National Law University Placement Overview 2025
According to media reports, 77 offers were made on the first day of the GNLU placements in 2025. A total of 90 students participated in the placement drive 2025, of which 50 were shortlisted for the interview, and 29 students were placed in reputable companies. The students of the 2026 batch also received 40 PPOs from the recruiters. Some of the top recruiters of GNLU in 2025 include Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., Trilegal, Khaitan & Co., IndusLaw, Argus Partners, among others.
At Gujarat National Law University, recruitment is a rigorous process that involves building long-lasting relationship with recruiters. The objective behind this involvement is to bring students and potential recruiters to a single platform. In order to facilitate the placement-related activities, the University has incorporated the Committee on Recruitment Affairs (CRA). The Committee comprises faculty, staff members and students.
Meanwhile, as per the NIRF report 2024 released by GNLU, the median package offered to UG 5-year students in 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA. Yes, Gujarat National Law University has a dedicated placement cell. The placement department is known by the name of Committee on Recruitment Affairs (CRA). As per the NIRF report 2024 released, GNLU median package offered to UG 5-year students in 2023 stood at INR 16 LPA. A total of 163 students were placed and 12 students opted for higher studies out of total 175 students during GNLU UG 5-year (BA LLB / BCom LLB / BSc LLB / BBA LLB) placements 2023.
The median package offered during PG 1-year (LLM) placements 2023 was INR 6 LPA. A total of 52 students were placed and 11 students opted for higher studies out of total 63 students for PG 1-year program in 2023.

Gujarat National Law University Internships 2024
The Institute provides internship opportunities twice in an academic year to students. The first internship opportunity is given during November-December whereas the second opportunity is given in the month of May-June. During the internship period, students work on real-time projects and conduct draft pleadings, legal research, legal research, briefs, etc. as required by the Host.
The internship program also involves assisting Lawyers or Judges in court, interviewing witnesses and closely observing court proceedings.
