About engineering life in Godavari Institute of Engineering and Technology.

Placements: Regarding placements, we cannot assume that all students will get placed. Only some secure jobs in companies, mostly with packages of 2 LPA or 3 LPA, while the highest package is around 4 LPA. Relying on placements is not a hopeful situation, so it is not worth expecting too much.

Infrastructure: Hostel food is not very good, but it is okay to eat. Labs and classrooms are also okay. Hostel rooms are decent, and the washrooms are manageable. However, the washrooms near classrooms need to be cleaner, as the water facility in those washrooms around class were bad.

Faculty: When it comes to the faculty, there is no guarantee that they will teach all concepts thoroughly. Self-study is essential. Some faculty members are not very effective in teaching. Having a good understanding and studying on your own is very important, not just in this college but in every college.

Other: The college is okay, and the campus is also okay.

Exploring GIET: Academics and Beyond.

Placements: Students of more than 60% were placed during final year placement drives. The highest package is about 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.25 LPA. Springs Works is the top MNC company which offers 12 LPA to the students at GIET (A). Assistant Software Engineering roles are offered by the companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure facilities are good at GIET. They provide a clean and fresh environment around the college premises. Also, the faculty is very friendly towards students. The hostel infrastructure is somewhat low, but it is the place where we had a lot of memories.

Faculty: As already told, the faculty is very friendly, and they are helpful towards the students. The teaching quality currently is 3/5. The training sessions and industrial expertise sessions and workshops they provide are helpful. The semester exams were the only things which were going strictly.

Other: College life is the best part for every student. There should be proper cultural activities and fests. The main thing is the placement drives, which are just sufficient, apart from the teaching.

It was a value-for-money college. The whole infrastructure and hostels are well-maintained.

Placements: In my college, placements happen very much. More than 1800 students got placed in my college. A minimum of 70% is required for placements. Large companies like Wipro, Microsoft, etc., came for placements. More than 60% of students got their internship opportunity in their 3rd year.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of both the college and hostel is excellent. We can find the best canteens inside the college. All classrooms are well-maintained from time to time. Labs, seminar halls, etc., are excellent in maintenance. We have Wi-Fi in the whole campus with high-speed internet.

Faculty: The faculty is not that much good in teaching. We have to study on our own to get good marks in the semester exams. The whole semester curriculum is the same as the government curriculum, but some topics are taken for the semester. We can also find a good library in my college, where we can find all needed textbooks, etc.

Other: I chose ECE in B.Tech because it has the best labs compared with any other college. The whole lab and infrastructure are excellent.

Really great in placements and facilities.

Placements: 50 out of 100 are selected or placed in my course. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. Teach Mahindra, Kia, Tata, Hyundai, etc., are some of the recruiting companies. 25% of students got internships from my course in product-based companies.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. Wi-Fi is available, and it has good network speed. In labs, equipment, tools, and machinery are available. The library facility is good, classrooms are nice, and projectors are available. In hostels, facilities are convenient, food is average, and sports and games are well-provided.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. The curriculum helps to make students industry-ready. Subjects are going well. As per the curriculum, exams are conducted well. Semester exams are not too difficult; the pass percentage is 30%.

Other: I am choosing this because I'm interested and eager to explore this course. All things are better and improved in my course. Events, fests, campus, connectivity, activities, etc., are all very nice.

It is an excellent college, but the hostel is worst.

Placements: In our college, placements have been distributed equally to all the branches. In past years since 2024, seniors got placed in many companies like Wipro, Mahindra, etc. More than 15 companies approached our college for placement purposes. The highest salary package offered to students who have more skills and knowledge is around 7 LPA - 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered for average skilled students in the B.Tech course is around 3.5 LPA - 6 LPA. In 2024, around 8 students got placed in Amazon and foreign companies with a salary package of 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostel is average. It does not provide good infrastructure to the hostelers. Wi-Fi is available, but the speed is slow. In CSE & mechanical departments, labs and machines are available with high accuracy. The sports and library period will be provided weekly once on different days. We can utilise both as per our wish. The food provided by the hostel is average. The medical facilities are available inside the campus. The hospital is available in our college. This college has good labs for CSE & mechanical branches compared to other branches.

Faculty: Our teachers are very friendly. I like the way they interact with students. They clarify our doubts on time. They are highly knowledgeable and highly qualified. Professors are Ph.D. holders. Our department HOD is friendly. She supports students in a friendly manner. This college makes students pass out with high skills and basic knowledge. The semester exams are easy if you have basic knowledge. If students know how to write a paper, they can easily pass the semester exams. The percentage will be good for the average students compared to nearby colleges. The correction is liberal in our college. This institution is autonomous, and it has become university status. Projectors and PPTs will be provided by our faculty members. The format of the PPT is very easy to understand. It will be in a shortcut. Faculty members are knowledgeable in the teaching field.

Other: I joined this college and course because of the pass percentage and lab facilities. Our college events will be there on movie promotions. Our management organises events rarely because of the huge crowd on the campus. Recently, the management has initiated strict rules for every student regarding the bear, shoes, and uniform. This college is full of good nature and located near high way.
