College review by a student author.
Placements: Almost all the students are placed though the role they are offered might not be the same for all. A few got high packages like above 10 LPA and the rest stayed about 5 LPA approximately. Many students got on-campus placement while a good number of students applied off-campus.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great and also under development as of now. The library has a great decor that's very helpful for discipline. Academic and non-academic books like novels are also available. I am an author myself and my book is fortunate to be in the college library in the novel section. The book name is The moment before I notice.
Faculty: Semester exams are mostly moderate in difficulty level. My course students get more resistance to pass being a technical course otherwise it's not that hard. Previous year questions do help in understanding the exam pattern and towards better preparation for the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in technology. The college life is great. Several events are happening almost every month so students don't get bored with the usual curriculum.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: College provides opportunities for students who want to grab opportunities in any field of their interest and want to do better. Around 85% of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 8 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Capgemini. Around 70% of students get internships in IT/service companies. Roles offered include SDE, Analyst, and Tester.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and good infrastructure with well-equipped labs and structured classes. It provides reasonable mess facilities, Wi-Fi, and security. The mess and canteen food quality is decent with hygienic preparation. Sports facilities for cricket, football, and badminton are available.
Faculty: Some teachers are supportive. Teachers are qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable with good command over their subjects. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is around 85–90%.
Other: I want to build my career in the software industry, so I chose this course. It offers good job opportunities. Grafest and many other fests are organized frequently.

Partially satisfied with placements.
Placements: Only 40% of the students secure placements through on-campus recruitment. The highest package to date was 63 lakhs per annum, while the lowest was 5 lakhs per annum. Atlassian is currently the top recruiting company, and only 15% of students landed internships at companies like Atlassian and Myntra. Software development and full-stack development are the leading roles in my course.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library are well-maintained and feature good infrastructure, including a reliable Wi-Fi connection, proper ventilation, and adequate lighting. The quality of the hostels is also very good, just like the college infrastructure. The mess quality is good, but the canteen quality is very high. The medical facilities are top-notch, complete with an ambulance. Sports events occur regularly, and students can play freely during their spare time.
Faculty: The faculty is very qualified and knowledgeable about my course. They are also quite helpful. At least they fulfill their responsibilities and often go beyond their duties to assist students. However, I feel that the course curriculum is somewhat irrelevant since the subjects important to my course do not receive adequate attention due to time allocated to other subjects. These extra subjects can feel like a waste of time. The semester exams are consistently hectic, with internal and external exams in one semester, which helps students prepare well. The pass percentage is 35%.
Other: I chose this course solely because my parents wanted me to. However, I have grown very passionate about my course, which is the best aspect of it; it doesn't give you even a moment's rest. I wish to exclude all the additional subjects that hold little value for the industry. The campus environment is peaceful and green. Scholarships are provided based on your 12th-grade percentage. Regarding extracurricular activities, there is Air NCC in our college

B.Tech at Graphic Era Hill University.
Placements: About 60% of students get placement from the campus. The highest package of 2025 is 60 LPA, and the lowest is about 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and TCS. About 30% of students get internships from the course B.Tech from the companies. Mostly, the role offered is generally that of a Software Development Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Classrooms are equipped with all the necessary things like projectors and fans. The library is also equipped with good Wi-Fi connectivity, and all the necessary books are present in the library. Labs have all the necessary things. Currently, the hostel is not there in the Haldwani campus. The canteen facilities are good, and the medical room also has all facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, they are well-qualified and good knowledgeable. Most of teachers are Ph.D. holders, and they help in writing research papers. The course only includes basic things, it really doesn't make us industry-ready, and we have to work on our skills on our own. Semester exams are average, they are not that difficult.
Other: I really join this course because of the boom in computer science. Events are very good.

The campus is beautiful, with greenery all around, the best faculty, and the best food, I can say.
Placements: Well, our institute Graphic Era is known for its B.Tech only, and a good number of students are placed in our university. Well, the highest package is more than 20 LPA, and the minimum or average, I can say, is 3 LPA or 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies that visit our college are Atlassian, Wipro, Accenture, Mahindra, TCS, Amazon, and a lot more. Well, there is no compulsion for us to do the internship, but yes, in our last year, the college prefers that we do an internship that enhances our knowledge. Well, roles are core.
Infrastructure: Well, the infrastructure and facility of our college are really good, from the classroom to the library to labs to the Wi-Fi connectivity. Well, our canteen food is really great, quite hygienic, and has a lot of variety. Our campus is not a large campus, but the facility for sports is there for sure, I can say, and our college focuses on games.
Faculty: All our teachers are well-qualified Ph.D. graduates and highly qualified for their roles. Our course curriculum is totally industry-ready, whatever we learn, the same thing we are going to apply in the future. They actually make us job-ready. Well, our exams are quite tough to pass because our college is known for the B.Tech branch, so definitely they want their students to be competitive in the market.

CSE life, skills, and scope.
Placements: 70% to 80% of students (seniors) are placed in companies like Atlassian, TCS, LTI, Mindtree, Infosys, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. The highest package is 61 LPA by Atlassian, and the average package is 7 LPA to 10 LPA. Common roles offered are SDE, Web Developer, and other tech-based profiles.
Infrastructure: Hostels are not available currently. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are well-maintained with upgraded equipment. Canteen food and medical facilities are satisfactory. Sports and games are limited for B.Tech students but can be accessed during free time.
Faculty: The teaching staff is helpful, qualified, and creates a great study environment. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented. Semester exams are a bit tough but manageable. With proper study, passing is easy. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I choose CSE due to my interest in teaching and innovation. The best part is hands-on learning and coding exposure. Improvements can be made in project support and lab access. Fests are lively, the crowd is friendly, and scholarships are available. Various clubs are available, like cultural clubs, Tech clubs, Eco clubs, etc. We even have our own business incubator.

Good teachers and facilities with various cultural events.
Placements: This year, about 15–20 students get placed, and the highest package is 61.99 LPA and company is Atlassian. Most students get placed in a company named Capgemini. Around 8–9 students are doing internships in B.Tech, and the best one out of them is doing an internship at Myntra.
Infrastructure: Facilities are mid. There are 3 computer labs, two of them Ubuntu, and the other one has Windows. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained. Wi-Fi signals are a bit poor. There are around 6–7 Wi-Fi, but they don't have internet speed. Only the one available in the library works fine.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified and are always ready to help us clear our doubts. The course curriculum is actually relevant, and they teach us industry-level skills. Exams are average. If a person knows the concepts and has solved the PYQs, then there is no problem in passing exams. The passing mark is needed to secure 30 out of 100 in the end-term exam, and it does not matter if you are fail the mid-term exam. It is all good as long as you pass the end-term.
