Placements: In the last eight years, the college has provided 100% placement. The highest package offered by companies is 18 LPA. Many MNCs and multi-state companies visit the college for placement drives. The top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Tatva, and many other companies from Ahmedabad, Pune, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.

Infrastructure: Most facilities are available for BCA, IMCA, and MCA students. The college provides excellent computer labs. The classrooms are good. A library is also available. Students can access all resources until 6:30 p.m. Access is also available 24/7 upon request. The college appoints regular faculty members. They are knowledgeable and supportive.

Faculty: All faculty members are helpful with studies and additional learning. These include new technologies such as AI & ML. Syllabus is helpful for students. It includes new subjects according to industry demands. The college conducts two examinations: mid-semester and final exams. The minimum passing percentage is 40%.

Other: I want to become an AI specialist. The college has good connectivity, with AMTS and BRTS bus stops nearby. The college also provides scholarships.

An excellent college for engineering students.

Placements: Placement opportunities at LDCE are good. Many companies visit the college for recruitment, and students get a chance to apply according to their branch and eligibility. For Mechanical students, there are also core and non-core company opportunities. Students need to prepare for aptitude, technical questions, & interviews. College provides placement opportunities, but students also need to work on their skills.

Infrastructure: LDCE has good infrastructure for engineering students. The annexe building is also new. The Mechanical department has different labs and workshop facilities, which are useful for practical learning. Classrooms and other basic facilities are good. Hostel facilities are also available for students. The infrastructure is good for regular study & practical work, but some facilities can be improved and updated with new equipment.

Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful & supportive. Teachers explain the subjects and practical topics properly. The curriculum is good. It covers important subjects of Mechanical Engineering. Sometimes, syllabus feels a little difficult & lengthy, so regular study is needed. Exams are conducted properly. Students can prepare well by studying notes and previous years' questions.

Other: LDCE is a good option for students who want to study engineering. Students get good opportunities for academics, practical learning, & placements. Students should not depend only on college. They should also improve their own technical and communication skills. Regular study is important because the GTU syllabus and exams can sometimes be difficult.

Great infrastructure & events.

Placements: Only 40-50 percent of students got placed. Most of the companies were non IT. The highest package is 12 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. The average is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Bank of America is the top company. Around 30-40 percent of students got internships. The project manager is the top role offered. Other top roles offered are developer, designer, tester, and DB engineers.

Infrastructure: Overall infrastructure of the college is good, well-organized, and well-maintained. There are clean classrooms, and the labs are also good. Overall quality of the food in the canteen is not bad, but not as great. Also, it is okay. For the mess and medical facilities, I do not know about that. It is good for sports and games.

Faculty: Overall, all faculty members are good. In my opinion, the course curriculum mainly focuses on the basics and fundamentals of the IT industry. The semester exams are not as tough. The pass percentage is about 40 percent. I think the college should focus more on industry tools and AI tools, like frameworks and AI code editors.

Good placements in core companies, but poor infrastructure and hostels.

Placements: Around 70% to 80% of students who actually sit for placements get placed. A good portion of the batch usually opts out of the placement drive to prepare for GATE or pursue higher studies. The average package is around 4.5–5 LPA. The lowest is generally around 3 LPA. Our college has really strong ties with core companies. The major recruiters for our branch are Reliance Industries, Adani, L&T, DCM Shriram, Atul Ltd., and state giants like GNFC and GSFC.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure for the Chemical Engineering department is outdated. A new department with newer infrastructure is being developed. The campus Wi-Fi is extremely slow and barely functions inside our department block. The buildings are old. Basic maintenance is rarely taken seriously. The quality of food in the mess is below average. The menu is monotonous. Hygiene standards could be much better. The canteen offers slightly better food.

Faculty: Professors are quite knowledgeable. They are experienced, but teaching is very theory-heavy. The curriculum is syllabus-bound and feels outdated for current industry needs. GTU exams and mid-semester exams are held regularly. Passing is easy, but scoring high marks is tough.

Nice and small campus, but a very beautiful campus.

Placements: The percentage of students placed was around 60 to 70 percent in this course. As far as I knew, the highest package was around 5 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Intas, Biztech, Adani, etc. Around 50 to 60 percent of students got internships.

Infrastructure: There were good medical and canteen facilities available, as well as facilities for sports, games, and celebrating festivals and special days, those days were very much enjoyed. Classrooms were good with comfortable seats, the library was good, and the campus had computer labs as part of its good infrastructure.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful and joyful; they understood the students and helped them grow, they could teach in various languages such as English, Hindi, and Gujarati. The exams were moderately difficult, and the average passing rate was 65 to 75 percent. They were very nice teachers. .

Other: There were computer labs for students where they could perform practicals.

Placements are only for other courses.

Placements: My college does not offer placements for Electrical Engineering. They only provide jobs to Mechanical and Civil students. For Electrical, the placement rate is 0%. No companies come to us. We have to find our own jobs. There is no help from the college. Even internships, we have to find on our own. Our seniors are still searching for jobs now.

Infrastructure: My department is not good. Library books are old. Lab machines are broken. No teacher is available in the lab to help. The hostel has no Wi-Fi. The food is bad. Sports equipment is broken. There are too many rules in the hostel. Rooms are okay, but food and internet access are very poor. There is also no good medical help.

Faculty: Teachers are okay. Some cannot speak English well, so it is hard to learn. The syllabus is very old (more than 15 years old). We are not learning new things. Exams are not too hard but what we study is not useful for jobs. The college does not update books or teaching styles at all.

Other: I chose Electrical because I liked it. Here, everything is old and not working. The college must change teachers and update books. They must help Electrical students get jobs, too.
