Gujarat University is Public State Governmnet University. It has been ranked 17 by the Outlook 2026 in the MBA category. It has also been ranked in the range of 101-150 by the NIRF ranking 2025 in the Overall category. Overall it is a good and known university.

Gujarat University offers MBA as its flagship course. Gujarat University admission to LLM course is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Besides, aandidates need to pass qualifying exam at the first attempt with at least 50% aggregate in the final year examination or exam of last two semesters of the degree of Bachelor of Law (Three years’ or Five Years Integrated LLB Programme) of Gujarat University or other Universities recognised and approved by the UGC to apply for LLM.

• Scheduled Tribes: 15%
• Socially and Educationally Backward Classes: 27%

The GUJCET exam is conducted for admission to BTech, BPharma and PG courses. At this point, hostel fees for BSc students can range between INR 1.6 Lacs to INR 3.6 lakh. This fees might be charged on yearly basis throughout course duration in equal installments.

No, candidates cannot apply for BSc courses at Gujarat University in offline mode. This is because GCAS counselling is a mandatory part of BSc admissions and candidates can only register for it in online mode. After receiving allotment letter, candidates might be able to apply offline at Gujarat University.

Gujarat University BSc eligibility criteria does not require Biology as manadatory subject.

However, certain courses such as BSc in Food & Nutritional Sciences do require candidates to Biology as well as English as mandatory subjects in Class 12th to fulfill eligibility criteria.

Candidates who are from outside Gujarat need to apply for a provisional eligibility certificate from Gujarat University for BSc admission. This certificate must be obtained before GCAS counselling registration is done. Candidates with Gujarat domicile do not require this certificate.

No, Gujarat University BBA LLB application fees is never refunded to any candidate regardless of the reason. Once this fees is paid, a candidate will need pay this fees again if they wish to submit a fresh application after their allottment letter is rejected.
