Good infrastructure and facilities, but placement percentage is average.
Placements: Only 50% of students get placement, and they get a maximum of 25,000 monthly salary. This is nothing in front of the university fees. Most companies are not interested in employees who pass out from Guru Kashi University. So honestly, I want to say, if you want to do a Bachelor's degree like B.Sc. Agriculture, then you should try to find another university.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best, and the buildings are superb. You can get free Wi-Fi, advanced labs, and a library here, but the classrooms are average not bad, but not the best. Hostels are good, and the food is also good. I was living in Shivalik Hostel, and that was awesome. Sports ground, medical facilities, and games, everything is good.
Faculty: The teachers are good and also helpful. In fact, most of them passed out from Guru Kashi University, and after their graduation, they joined the university again as teachers because no one was hiring them. Courses are relevant but not so much. Semester exams are like all universities, and 80–90% can pass them.

Faculty members are more experienced and now there are new facilities.
Placements: Placements are not that enough. Around 2-3% of students got placements. The highest package is 30 LPA, and the minimum is 2 LPA. There are many companies like JU, Prabhat Seeds, etc. In this course, the top roles are to manage the agricultural field, pesticide distribution, safe use, and many banking jobs like assistant manager are there.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the course and the college are good as well. The labs and fields are there for better knowledge. Staff is also good but the new staff is just okay not that much good. Hostel looks good but I never lived in a hostel. The food of the hostel is not good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but some of them are not. All of them are qualified. The teaching quality of the teachers is good as well. The course is very good and it allows you to earn good money. It is an easy course. Students do not suffer much from study.
Other: This course is easy and has good career scope. It allows you to make good money. The staff should improve a little bit. Events and fests are held. Scholarships are also provided to some lower-class students.

A glance of GKU. Faculty is very cooperative.
Placements: Our university offers negligible placement to agricultural students. Sometimes, from a single batch, no one is placed through the university placement drive. The highest package offered was about 6 lacs, the average was 4 lacs, and the lowest was 2.6 lacs. The top recruiting companies in my course are Bharat Pesticides and Mikado Crop Science. 5–10% of students got internships and the top roles offered were salesperson, research and development.
Infrastructure: The labs are equipped with modern instruments but we rarely use them. Classes are normal at any school in the city. There is no air conditioning in classes. Wi-Fi facility only for faculty members. Projectors are there in some classrooms. The boys hostel rooms have attached washrooms, while the girls hostel does not. Average medical facilities are there. Mess food is very bad. Sports and game facilities are the best. Our university will rank 5th in Khelo, India, in 2023.
Faculty: The teachers are very cooperative. Most of the teachers are not qualified at the doctoral level. But they are knowledgeable. Teaching quality is more or less good. The course curriculum is highly relevant. And yes, it interests the students a lot. The semester exams are not very difficult. We can even pass the examinations by studying 1 week before the exams. The passing percentage is around 70–75%.
Other: There are 240 students in mt batch (2021). The majority of the students are from southern states like Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, etc. I chose this course because there is a diversity of job and business opportunities in this field. Moreover, this field deals with the farmer at ground level. The best thing about this course is the practical knowledge outside the four walls. From my point of view, there is no improvement required in the course till now. Fest is there once in a year. Scholarships are only for SC and ST students. Connectivity is good and the college is near the city.

Great Faculty and family-like College.
Placements: In our College, more than 78% of students are successfully placed in good companies like Legit Farms, IFFCO Yuva, Krishialpa Foundation, etc. The highest package is 5 Lacs per Annum, the lowest package is 10 Lacs per Annum. The average package offered in our course is 6 LPA. The students got many opportunities as Internship with a stipend of 10,000 with roles of Agri-Consultant.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our course, such as Books, Materials, Records, and Bluebooks for internals, we should pay for. In classrooms, there are Fans and Smart-TVs. The Library offers all facilities. Classrooms are large and spacious. The Hostel facilities are great. They offer more facilities, like food in the Mess. The quality of food in Mess is good. Medical facilities and many facilities. The Infrastructure of the College is good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful in a college course, which is relevant to Agriculture. Teachers are helpful; they teach well and give good facilities. The teaching quality is good and more. The Course Curriculum is relevant, and The students are made ready for the Industry and give many facilities like Training and teaching Exams are Hard but we can pass 72%.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA for agriculture students in the field work. Around 80% to 90% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connection and medical facilities are good. Classrooms are well maintained. Library is very good. Sports and games are worth it. Food served in the mess is good. Canteen serves food from all aspects like north Indian, south Indian, etc. The quality of food served is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are good and teachers prepare students very well for exams and clear doubts of the students.
Other: I chose this course because it has high scope in different sectors. Cultural events and connectivity are very good.

Our university has the best atmosphere.
Placements: This university has the highest number of students in the course of agriculture. The highest, lowest, and average salary packages are 7 LPA, 2.5 LPA, and 4 LPA respectively. The recruiting companies are JK Agri Genetics, Raghuvansh Agrofarm, etc.
Infrastructure: There are highest number of labs in the whole university because agriculture is a practical subject. So college has agricultural land of about 40 acres and a separate agricultural library with full of Wi-Fi. I am satisfied with the number of classrooms.
Faculty: Agriculture faculty members in our college are the best and very supportive. They are highly qualified with a doctorate as per the norms of UGC and the university. Teaching quality is better. Exams are not much difficult because it depends on the preparation of students. The pass percentage is 85% in our batch.
Other: I chose this course because it has good scope abroad and will be in India in the next few years and I am passionate about farming and agriculture.

It is the first ICAR accredited private university in the Malwa region of Punjab.
Placements: Placements are satisfactory in our college. Local companies visit our university for placements but the salary package is not high for the placed students. The placement cell is working in order to provide better placements. The job fair is also organised by the government of Punjab every year.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is good in our college. Labs are fully-equipped with sophisticated instruments as required. University has a field area of 50 acres for practical and research work in agriculture. Wi-fi facility is not available for the students on campus. The central library is present along with a separate library in each block. University has a large playground with a newly built stadium.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are well qualified but not well experienced. More emphasis is given on completing the syllabus rather than practicals. The curriculum is followed as prescribed by ICAR, New Delhi, the university college of agriculture is duly accredited by ICAR, New Delhi, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Punjab government. The pass percentage is almost 80%.
Other: The B.Sc. (Hons.). Agriculture course has a great scope as India is an agricultural country and it is the time of modern agriculture. Guru Kashi University offers this course with accreditation from ICAR New Delhi and the government of Punjab.
