The good old Chandigarh University campus times.
Placements: The roles offered by companies during placements were different from the courses we took. Most of the roles were in human resources or sales. There were a few companies that offered roles in agricultural companies but they had a tough interview process and didn't select any students. Some of the roles offered very low pay.
Infrastructure: The hostels were good and the food was good in some but not so good in others. There were gym facilities but the Wi-Fi was not so good. The libraries were good. The quality of the hostels was okay and the food in the mess was okay. The medical facilities were okay, and the facilities for sports and games were good.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful, and the faculty was nice, friendly, and qualified. The teaching quality was good, and the course curriculum was relevant to our course. However, it needed improvement to ensure that students were industry ready. The exams were not that difficult, and the pass percentage was 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in botany and wanted to learn how to grow plants and protect them from pests and diseases. The curriculum was good, and the faculty were helpful. However, I think the placement cell could be improved. Other than that, everything was good, including the events, campus crowd, and connectivity. The campus surroundings were okay, and the extracurricular activities were good.

Placements: The top recruiters during campus placements 2023-24 include Amazon, Flipkart, Deloitte, IBM, Earnest Young, Bank of America, and Microsoft and many more. The highest package is INR 1.7 CPA at the international level and the highest domestic package is INR 54.75 LPA offered to B.Tech CSE students during the placement drives.
Infrastructure: Our campus has separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities and attached mess. The hostels are equipped with all major facilities like internet, music room, and common room with TV & able facility, etc. Our campus provides separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities and attached mess. Faculty: The teachers in CU are really very kind and helpful. Each and every faculty member is well qualified, with 90% of Ph.D. holders. Proper covering of syllabus is done by them in an orderly manner. They support us in all aspects, whether academics or extracurricular activities. They took us for various industrial visits. They are more focused on practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge.
Other: Our campus is filled with crowds; students from different countries studied here.

Placements are not good.
Placements: Very less and fewer packages are expected. Very few agriculture companies came honestly. In the start, they told many companies come. But B.Sc. agriculture can do with higher studies. The highest salary is around Rs. 25,000-30,000.
Infrastructure: Agriculture infrastructure is bad. The department is initially on 2 floors rather than one floor. But the hostel is good. For B.Tech, the infrastructure is good. In agriculture, lab equipment is present. But only one field and very few visits or field work are there.
Faculty: The faculty is good. The exam pattern is good. You can learn well. The curriculum is strict in CU. It focuses on the overall development of a person. The faculty and higher authority are supportive. There is a budget problem in CU for visits to companies.
