Gurugram University BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Admission, Eligibility & Selection Criteria

To get admission to the Gurugram University BTech course candidates are required to have a valid qualification: Class 12 with 45% aggregate (40 in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/ Computer Science. Admission to the BTech course is conducted as per AICTE/HSTES guidelines. Qualified candidates must visit the official website and register for the cousre. Further, candidates must also apply for the HSTES counselling 2025 for BTech admission. After the counselling, the department issues a provisional admission letter. The selected candidate has to deposit the Gurugram University BTech fee online within the stipulated time or else his/her seat will be considered vacant and the seat shall be offered to the next candidate. 

There is no entrance exam to get admission through HSTES for BTech admission at Gurugram University. Candidates are required to fill out the application form, and then selected candidates will get the call to appear in counselling. It is also important for candidates to know about the eligibility criteria. That is, candidates should meet the HSTES eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. It is necessary to meet the conditions, like qualifying examination, marks obtained, subjects, etc. The scores of the following exams are used for selectio of the candidates via HSTES counselling:

Gurugram University BTech admission is conducted as per AICTE/HSTES guidelines. Candidates are required to participate in the couselling rounds conducted by HSTES or Haryana State Technical Education Society. Since Gurugram University is a participating university in the HSTES counselling, interested have to register and fill in choices based on their preference, eligibility and qualifying merit. Admission based on: JEE Main 2025 ranks

Gurugram University BTech admission dates are not out yet for admission 2025. However, admission 2025 is open since the HSTES counseling and JEE Main admission portal is open now. Candidates can refer to the previous year's dates to have an idea about the BTech admission dates:

• Gurugram University course application form submission commenced from 2024 was from May 9, 2024, to June 3, 2024. The last date to submit the application form was from June 30 to July 20, 2024.

• Further, the first merit list was displayed from July 6 to July 26, 2024.

The registrations for the JEE Main 2026 session 2 are now over.

Gurugram University BTech in Electronics Engineering is a four years cours offered in a full-time mode. The BTech curriculum is spread across eight semesters. The BTech curriculum comprises of multiple components such as:

Yes, Gurugram University does offer BTech course. The course is offered at a undergraduate-level lasting for four year. The BTech course at Gurugram University is offered in two specialisations Computer Science and Engineering and Electronic Engineering. BTech in Computer Science is divided into multiple sub-specialisations: Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security. 

Admission to the BTech course is conducted as per AICTE/HSTES guidelines. Gurugram University only accepts students who have completed their twelve years of school education and have a valid score in the entrance exam. HSTES or Haryana State Technical Education Society conducts state-level counselling for admission to BTech courses. 

There are 60 seats for B.Tech in Gurugram University out of which 10% seats are reserved for NRI students.

To eligible for B.Tech you have to pass class 12th in PCM and English subjects with 45% marks for unreserved category and 40% marks for reserved category.

Selection: Online Counselling conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES)

The following are the special categories for admission: Kashmir Migrant (KM), Mewat Area Residents (MAR), Haryana Government School Topper (HGST), Shivalik Development Board (SDB), Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW). Check below in detail: HSTES Kashmir Migrant Seats: The number of seats under this scheme is 5% of the sanctioned intake of each course. The seats will be supernumerary in nature and will be filled separately on the basis of inter-se-merit in the qualifying examination. HSTES BE/B.Tech Tuition Fee Waiver: Under this scheme, those candidates will be eligible whose parents annual income is less than eight Lacs from all sources. Seats under this category shall be supernumerary in nature, and up to a maximum of 5% of "Approved Intake" per Course shall be available for admission. The supernumerary seats will be available only to such courses in an institution where a minimum of 30% of the "Approved Intake" is filled. HSTES Haryana Government School Topper (HGST) Seats: These seats in each branch will be filled on the basis of inter-se-merit in Class 12.
