HPU admission to MBA is entrance-based. The university conducts HPU MAT is a computer-based test of two hours' duration with 200 questions. The HPU MAT exam is conducted once in a year. Below is the selection criteria for HPU MBA programme:

The total tuition fee for HPU MBA ranges between INR 4,800 and INR 1.4 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Admission to BTech (LE) courses is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. Candidates need to complete a three-year Diploma preferably in the same branch (IT/CSE/CE/EE/ECE) with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category) ), preferably from Himachal Pradesh State Board of Technical Education or equivalent to get admission in BTech (LE) programme.
