Review of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: Multiple companies offer number of offers globally, Turgajo Technologies, Hireginie Talent Cloud Pvt, PwC, and Flipkart are the most constant recruiters from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. These companies offer up to the maximum package of Rs 2,03,000 annually.
Infrastructure: College should always be proud of their student's achievements. College is so good by the means of transportation facilities. They also collect very minimal charges for every student for transportation. Apart from grading systems, college looks for well-disciplined students.
Faculty: Faculty members are specialized in their curriculum and have gained a lot of experience, knowledge by providing continuous service in academics. They have shown their higher concentration on raising the standards of academics. But they are familiar with their subjects, but not aware of some other subjects.

Good placements in 2025 and dissatisfied with internships.
Placements: I heard about top companies' visits like HCL and Google, where students got placed. The average package is 3 LPA, and the students of the college got placement training. The maximum CGPA to get placement is above 8 out of 10, and the placement training is good.
Infrastructure: The quality of a college is good, but poor internet connection and the facility of old classrooms without any fans are bad, more importance is given to sports and events. The quality of the food is poor. The facilities of a hostel are the most costly. Wi-Fi is not available.
Faculty: Faculty is good. The semester exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 50%, with practical and internal marks, and the teaching quality is good. Teachers are friendly and knowledgeable. Some staff is very dangerous and the curriculum of a college is relevant.
Other: I chose this course because of the collaboration at IBM.

The worst South Indian college to take admission in.
Placements: Around 20% of students got placed with an average salary package of 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The placement team is very bad. They don't bring any good core companies. They don't provide any placement training. It is the worst. Companies offer internships and provide contact-based roles. There is nothing permanent. Core students are offered IT sector jobs.
Infrastructure: Labs were pretty good, but no such experienced faculty to teach and use the tools to educate.
Faculty: Teaching staff members were the worst. They are biased toward the South Indian language. They don't teach in English. They ask us to learn Tamil or Telegu but in our college, we are supposed to learn our native language or our course of study. They used to talk in their native language. Teachers just provide notes and don't explain anything. Before exams, they provide some sets of questions and ask to prepare them. Questions will come from this.
Other: Fests were pathetic only South Indian stars visited and their songs are played in our college. There is much racism for North Indian students.

Hindustan College offers good infrastructure, decent facultyand average placements.
Placements: The placement scenario in my college is quite average. Some students manage to secure good job offers. The overall placement rate is not very high. Many students have to rely on off campus opportunities to find suitable employment. Although the college does invite companies for recruitment, the number and quality of job offers vary each year. As a result, students are encouraged to focus on building their skills independently and seek internships or certification to improve their chances in the job market.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in my college is quite good. The campus is well-maintained and equipped with modern facilities supporting academic and extracurricular activities. Classrooms are spacious and furnished with smart boards and projectors, creating a comfortable learning environment. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of books, journals, and digital resources. Laboratories are up to date with the necessary equipment for practical sessions. Additionally, the college provides good sports facilities. There is Wi-Fi access across the campus. It provides clean hostel accommodation. Overall the infrastructure contributes positively to students' experience.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, supportive, and experienced, ensuring students receive both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure in cybersecurity. The course curriculum is industry relevant and regularly updated, covering topics like ethical hacking, network security, digital forensics, etc., along with core computer science subjects. Examinations are well-structured, with internal assessment, lab practical, and end-semester exams that test both understanding and application. Overall the course equips students with skills needed to succeed in the cybersecurity field.
Other: The BCA Cyber Security course at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science offers a well-rounded academic experience, so I chose it.

A detailed insight of my college placements, infrastructure, teachers, curriculum, and campus life.
Placements: Our college placement cell gives active job opportunities. Mostly based on the IT sector since I also studied computer science engineering. The average package offered during my batch for 3 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies that came during my academic year are Tata, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, Boeing, and other startup companies. Internship offers are also provided.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is decent and green. The drainage systems are well maintained, and in rainy seasons there won't be much clogged water. There are different architectural buildings for different departments. Library is well-maintained and air-conditioned. There are football field, basketball court, badminton court, etc. There are 2 canteens and a mini super-market is also there.
Faculty: Faculty members during our academic year are good. Learned many things from highly ranked staffs. Few are very supportive of our projects and have guided us. Curriculum in our college is quite structured. It will be more updated in upcoming years. There are practical labs, projects, and theory subjects. Exams are conducted regularly consisting of both internals and final semesters. One good thing is that there won't be any extra exam fees collected before the exams.

B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2027

4Placements3Infrastructure2Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
Not at all satisfied with the facilities that we get for the money we pay.
Placements: In B.Tech information technology, around 80% of the students get placed if they are eligible and have good CGPA. In my course, the average package offered is 4.5 LPA, and maximum is 12 LPA. Top companies that recruit in my course are IBM, TCS, and Wipro. In my course, students are not offered internships by the college. Even the faculty members do not guide us to internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average in my department. The restrooms are not even maintained properly. The entire block looks old and poorly maintained. Labs are not upto the standards. Most of the systems do not work and are poorly maintained. There are 4 labs, and all of them are maintained properly. However, due to the recent change in management, there are renovation and paint jobs happening in our block now. I hope they might fix these issues soon but so far this is the condition of my department.
Faculty: Faculty members in my department do not teach anything. They themselves are poorly educated about the concepts. Adding to this, there is a lack of staff in my department as well. Faculty members have very poor conversational skills, they don't even know how to properly explain a simple topic, they don't know proper English, and are very poor at communication. The curriculum is somewhat okay but it does not make us industry-ready. Faculty members are not qualified enough to get us ready to the real world out there.
Other: I chose this course because I got a scholarship discount due to which it fee is way cheaper compared to other colleges for the same course. Faculty members should be thoroughly checked about their qualifications before providing them with jobs, as they don't have enough skill to provide us with practical knowledge.
