Hindustan University offers a four-year BTech course. Apart from this students can also get direct admission to the second year of BTech through Lateral Entry. The university offers two additional subject options in collaboration with IBM. At Hindustan University, the curriculum of the course is designed in such as way that it helps students to get both theoretical and practical learning, which get possible with the help if Funded Research Projects and many industrial collaborations. The placement cell of the university is also very active. In 2024, NIRF has ranked the university #113 in the "engineering" category.

Hindustan College of Engineering, established in 1985 is a private college and is located in Kelambakkam, Chennai. The college was conferred the status of a university under the name Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS). It is a deemed-to-be University recognised by the UGC, the AICTE, the AIMA, the SAE International, AIAA,  and is a member of AIU and is accredited by the IAO, NAAC with an 'A' Grade,  and NBA.

Hindustan University offers a three-year LLB course as a professional program. This course is approved by the Bar Council through the School of Law. At Hindustan University, students get to learn the fundamentals of Law with real-time situations and practical implementations. During the commencement of this course, students get wide exposure to industry collaboration with associations such as Surana and Surana International Attorneys, which is associated with the ILSA. It is popular to conduct many national and international moot court competitions.
