Candidates must have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects and at least one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics Practices / Engineering Graphics as major subjects in regular stream from any board with mentioned marks from a recognized board.

For Vocational stream an average of mentioned marks in the related subjects and vocational subjects (Theory and Practical) and for B.Tech. Biotechnology stream, a minimum average of mentioned marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
