Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science!
Placements: Good placements are done. They are saying that about 80% of the students get placed in college placements. Internships are also provided for students from the fourth semester. They are sending students to Nokia for internships and some are getting placed there itself.
Infrastructure: Nice infrastructure. Wi-Fi is given to students who apply for it. The Wi-Fi provided here is high-speed, and the limit for Wi-Fi is 10GB per day for each student. The hostel is very nice, and the services provided there are great, including cleaning services.
Faculty: The semester exams are not that hard if you prepare well. The faculty members here are well-experienced, and most of them have completed Ph.D., so there are no problems in their teaching and experience. The pass percentage for exams is 50%. The course curriculum is relevant.

It has good infrastructure and a good location.
Placements: Approximately 50% of students were placed in various roles, with salaries ranging from Rs. 25000 to Rs. 70000 per month. Some students went to training and internships. Companies that provide placements include TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra, and other top companies. Students got jobs as software developers.
Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure and is located near the city. Labs are very updated. They provide high-speed Wi-Fi. Classrooms are very good. The hostel facilities are good. The food served at the hostel is average. They give importance to sports.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and helpful. They are very professional, and they have worked for many years at this college. They teach you practical skills. They will train you to get placements.
Other: You can get a job in both the software and hardware fields if you choose this course.

This college environment is very good.
Placements: Around 50% of students have got placed in some companies. Remaining they went abroad for higher studies. Some of the companies are Cisco, Infosys, Accenture, and TCS. Around 50% of students got internships from our college. Software developer and associate system engineer are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: This college provides many infrastructures for studies. The library is provided in this college. Hostel facility is available, but students need to pay lakhs as a fee for that hostel. Wi-Fi is enabled, and laboratories for practice are available. It provides food per week, and students can have chicken for 5 days in a hostel. Medical facilities are provided for an emergency.
Faculty: The staff of this college is well educated and talented. Their teaching is very good and understandable. They will make it easy to understand the subject for students. The exams are difficult as per of every college, but students need to work hard for that. Students need to get 25 marks out of 50.

Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Verizon, Zoho and Accenture are the top recruiting companies of our college.

The companies too come for time pass, have no interest in recruitment, make students fool, and all are bad companies.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of no placements for 2020 batch.
Placements: Around 10% of the students got placed, but they didn't receive call letters till now. The average package offered is 3 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Zohi, Verzeo, Ethnus etc. Around 10% of the students got internships in the marketing field, and not in the electronics field, and the company is Verzeo.
Infrastructure: Our college has a huge library, the best electronics and communications labs, and electronics and machines labs. Classrooms are good. There are two hostels, international hostel and a normal hostel, but there is a difference in the fee structure and maintenance. We have a canteen and a playground.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, but they need to improve a lot on how to teach the students and how to make them understand. Their knowledge is not up to the mark. Not all the teachers are well-qualified. They need freedom for teaching. The curriculum is good.
Other: They need to improve campus placements for students.

It is the best college in Chennai with extraordinary campus life.
Placements: Many companies are conducting campus interviews at our college. About 75% of the students get placed in the companies, but the rest of them aren't interested because of the salary package and work location. They offered a salary package of 1.92 LPA to 6 LPA. Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Verizon, Zoho and Accenture are the top recruiting companies of our college. Top roles like trainee, developer and project head were offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is amazing, and the campus is lush green. Classrooms, laboratories and bathrooms are very clean. Laboratories are air-conditioned and have good lab assistants. They have a huge central library which has five floors and thousands of books from various domains.
Faculty: Faculty members here are decent, but everyone is not knowledgeable. Some of them are of no use, but some staff members are well-qualified to teach students. Students give ratings to faculty members at the end of each semester. Students can approach staff members at any time for the clarification of the doubts.
Other: I have chosen this course because it deals with the communication side of all the electronic gadgets, and it is very interesting in both theoretically and practically. They have a wide range of areas to work with and has scope always as compared to other departments.

It is a very bad college, so I suggest you not to join here.
Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are MRF, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, etc. None of the students got internships from our college. Top roles are not offered in our college.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure here are average, but the labs are bad. The food served in the mess is also very worst on the campus, and only on some special days, the mess will be good. Medical facilities are fine inside the campus. There were medical shops. Labs are also fine and are air-conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty members here are the worst, not helpful, not qualified and not knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was bad. Only one teacher out of 10 teachers was good. The course curriculum was not relevant. It won't provide the interest to study for students. Some teachers have done PhD in VIT and SRM, but they are not up to the mark.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements in 2020.
Placements: As the number of companies attended to our college are very less, very less amount of students got placed. The highest package is 4 LPA and the lowest is 1.8 LPA and average will be 3 LPA. Infosys is the top recruiting company for our course. No roles were offered in our course. Only few students got internship from our course like just 10 to 15 members. Infosys intern students were still waiting for the call letter.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were quite good and labs are also fine. Library is very good and have a nice collection of books. The facilities in the hostel were not good in respect to food, facilities and no sports were conducted by the college. Hostel fee is too expensive but it is not worthy for paying.
Faculty: Teachers were quite good. But they don't care about the students. Very few were good with knowledge. The teachers were qualified and also helps students. The course is curriculum relevant and everything happens according to the curriculum but the staff tries to skip classes and makes students to feel the burden.
Other: As I am interested in circuits, I choose this course and I feel labs are the best things in my course. In my view the teachers should teach very nicely and make the students feel less burdened. Every year only one event is conducted named yarona. College offers good scholarships and can be affordable for the middleclass people. Extracurricular activities also conducted once in a year.

Disastrous college for those interested in placements.
Placements: The number of students placed is quiet less as less number of companies are coming for the recruitment, of course, some are placed at low salaries. The highest package-400000, avg package-250000, the lowest package-150000. For now in our department 30 students are placed in Infosys and 2 students in TCS, 1 for Hexaware. In the total of 150 students only 50 got placed. There is no practical research for students to gain knowledge.
Infrastructure: No wi-fi but the library is quite large that too the digital library which has only APPLE MACS. The collection of books in the library has more local author books and foreign author books are quite less. In hostel non-veg food is provided and a clinic is also there on campus. As college was in another state the chance for other state students is quite less to participate in games.
Faculty: Most of the staff do not even know the subject, some of the staff are the ex-students from the college itself. Teaching quality is poor but even though they do not know the subject they will try to prepare it and explain later. It will not make students ready for industry.
Other: I joined this course to work into the core side as I am interested in telecommunications. Practical knowledge should be delivered more. Fests are quite less only one per semester named 'YARONA'.

Yes, students can apply for admission under sports quota. I think there will be some relaxation of tuition fee, but still the student has to fulfill the eligibility criteria for getting the admission.
