Satisfied enough with the college, worth the fees, good placements, and environment .
Placements: 90% of students are placed with good salaries with a minimum package of 5 LPA. The highest package is 12 LPA, the average is 5 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Bosch is the top recruiting company; 100% of the students got internships in 2 and 3 years; Electrical Engineering Chief is the highest role offered and different managing posts.
Infrastructure: Labs, projectors, smart classes, libraries—everything related to electrical engineering is available inside the campus. Average food, including north and south Indian, is provided; a clinic is available inside the campus; there is a good sports team; and there are all the sports facilities .
Faculty: Most of the teachers are highly qualified and have lots of experience in their field. Some also have doctorates, and their teaching quality is good and supportive. Yes, the course makes students industry-ready by giving practical classes. Most of the core subjects have practical classes. If you have basic knowledge of the subject, you can pass easily. 50% is the pass percentage .
Other: I chose this course because of the low competition inside the university, high placement and quality teaching. Yes, a few events are happening inside the campus, like Yarona, Onam, Pongal, etc. The environment is very good inside the campus and lots of scholarships are provided .

Review of Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: In our course, at least 100 students were placed. Around 90% of students got placed in top companies like Infosys and Cognizant. Many top roles were offered. Internships offered by companies were good.
Infrastructure: The library was available for reading books. We had classrooms. Wi-Fi was available. Our labs were good. The hostel was neat. The food served was good. Sports and extracurricular activities such as cricket and tennis competitions were mostly held. Our college environment was encouraging.
Faculty: Our teachers were experienced, well-trained, and competitive with each other. They could spend at least 5 to 6 hours per day in our classroom and teach effectively. Semester exams were easy.
Other: College life was one of the best experiences of my life. Scholarships were provided by the college so that low-income students could be supported. The college needs to focus on placements and proper planning.

It was a good campus but studying is up to you.
Placements: About 30% of students got placed, but very less top companies would visit our campus. Many companies were with unknown names. Zoho comes every year. Apart from that, other companies were very less. Zoho only recruited 3 students. I got my placement off-campus. I did a few offers but they were with very less salary packages.
Infrastructure: The labs and facilities in our college were good. The library is very huge. There is no Wi-Fi. There were separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel was huge. Food was not up to mark. Sports and games were prioritised. There were two canteens available. Food was okay.
Faculty: Studying is your choice. The teachers would not push you, you will have to come up. Attendance is very important. The curriculum was relevant. The pass percentage is 40%. The corrrction is within the university, and students run for attendance. Overall, it was a good experience.
Other: Events were good in our college.

I am satisfied with the college life and faculty members' teaching.
Placements: Only 30% of students got placed in the year 2020 because of the pandemic situation. But for the 2021 batch, our college provided good placements. Now, the placement percentage got increased when compared to the 2020 batch. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good library and well infrastructure labs. The quality of the food served is good. It provides a free Wi-Fi facility for students to browse the internet. The library has good equipment like a laptop and tabs to use for any kind of project work. The laptop will be given to students for their project.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and helpful. Their teaching quality is very good. If we listen to the classes very carefully, then we can easily clear all semesters. But fourth, fifth, and seventh-semester exams are somewhat difficult. You should work hard to clear the exams. Semester exams are easy to clear if we prepare well.
Other: Our college should provide some more practical labs. It should organise some more events and fest.

The course curriculum needs to be changed because it is not skill based and industry oriented.
Placements: Only 750 students got placed. The highest package 25 LPA and the lowest package 1.8 LPA. Zoho is the top recruiting company.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of both the course and department are really good. The college has smart classrooms, the best library and state of the art labs with all the required equipments.
Faculty: The course is good but not industry oriented. The teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and helpful too. But the course curriculum needs to be changed because the thesis will only give you a degree but not make you industry-ready. The course is not skill-based.

Good college with no placements. For studies and infrastructure it's ok but for placement it's waste
Placements: Seriously I am writing a honest review. Don't expect placement's from this college. Placement is there but the companies which are coming to college are very waste companies. Only few 3-4 big MNC came to college like Infosys, value labs that's all. If company coming tomorrow they will announce today as that Infosys, some other is coming tomorrow. Don't join this university. Total money waste.
Infrastructure: I studied EEE, infrastructure is good I'll agree to that. You can find good labs and teaching in Hindustan. Even labs are good. We should appreciate in this. Wi-Fi is there. No Wi-Fi provided to day scholars. 2. Hostel is super. It will be like 3 star hotel. Food will be good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they will clarify all the doubts here. Teaching quality is also good. Everything is okay except placements. Placements is the worst in Hindustan. Only small companies will come to this college. 2. Course curriculum is relevant. Student can go through that.

It is an average college but with a good place to start your career. Placements are average.
Placements: Around 75% of the batch got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 45,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Zoho, etc., are the top recruiting companies. Software engineer, business development manager, etc., were the top roles offered to students. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got an internship in companies like Goa Shipyard Ltd, and various electrical companies.
Infrastructure: Department of EEE has its building with all classrooms in the same building. Computer Labs are well-equipped for running MAT lab and other electrical software. The library is one of the finest in the state. The quality of the food and hostel is average, and it is just enough to survive.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very supportive of the activities we took. Some professors had good industry exposure and taught us well. The course curriculum is relevant to an extent us. But with the changing industry requirements, courses are not updated by UGC. Other than that, all relevant workshops are conducted to make aware of the latest trends in the industry.
Other: B. Tech in EEE provided me with options to apply in many defence and government jobs. The best things about the course were changing circuits. The college should provide better infrastructure. National level technical fest covered all the facts of college life.

Faculty members in the college are okay, and the college has a huge infrastructure.
Placements: Our college assures 100% placements. People who have talent in aptitude and core subjects will get placed in campus placements. Companies like Zoho, Amazon, JET Airways, Volkswagen, Capgemini, and many others visit the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge infrastructure with canteens and hostels. There is a 3-storey library for each department. The campus is spread over 150 acres with football ground and cricket ground. There is a basketball court for students interested in basketball. The college provides facilities for playing tennis, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college are okay. They are supportive. The courses are good for each department. All the department's faculty support their students in projects and many more. The college also offers courses for postgraduate students. There are departments like aeronautical, EEE, ECE, CSE, BBA, B.Com, mechanical, automobile and many more.
Other: Scholarships are provided by the college if you attempt HITSEEE exam and for students who get more than 70% marks in the exam. Yarona is the name of the event held in college only in even semesters. Transportation is good for day scholar students. Many extracurricular activities are there for students to participate. The campus surroundings are good. There are many apartments for students to stay outside if they need.
