The University strictly follows the eligibility criteria of UGC norms. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Engineering Entrance Examination (HITSEEE) : An online Entrance Examination (HITSEEE) is conducted every year at various cities across India. Students seeking admission for undergraduate programmes (B.Tech) have to register online to appear for the Entrance Examination on dates specified in the media advertisements. B. Tech.Programme admission : Admission will be based on merit, considering the Entrance exam marks along with Plus Two / HSC / Intermediate / equivalent examinations marks etc. as per university norms. So from above HITS conducts own entrance exam for B.Tech admissions, So you need to appear in HITSEEE for getting admission here in B.Tech courses. JEE Main scores are not applicable here.

The HITSCAT 2025 scorecard will be valid for the current academic session only. So, using the scorecard, you will be able to get admission in the 2025-25 academic session. You can’t use the scorecard for admission in the next session.

Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science MBA admission is entrance-based. The course aspirants are required to take the HITSCAT exam and secure a valid score to get selected. Additionally, before filling out the application form on the university official website, aspirants must check the eligibility criteria. Yes, Hindustan University offers a five-year integrated course of BSc + MSc across three specialisations, namely Food Technology, Visual Communication and Mathematics. In this integrated course, students get a combined degree of UG and PG after the completion of course.

The total fee for HITS Chennai MBA courses is cumulative of multiple components, such as security deposit, tuition fee, hostel fee, and more. Selected candidates have to pay admission fee amount after selection for seat confirmation. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science MBA tuition fee range from INR 1.2 Lacs to INR 4.3 lakh. Additionally, the one-time fee is INR 8,500 and the hostel charges range from INR 1.48 Lacs to INR 1.64 lakh. It must be noted that the mentioned fee is as per the official website/sanctioning body. Hindustan University offers a three-year LLB course as a professional program. This course is approved by the Bar Council through the School of Law. At Hindustan University, students get to learn the fundamentals of Law with real-time situations and practical implementations. For admission to the BBA programme at Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, students should complete Class 12 in Science stream with a 50% aggregate. The studnets are selected based on HITSEEE.

Candidates are admitted to the MBA programmes based on Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science Common Aptitude Test (HITSCAT) score. The aptitude exam is conducted by the institute for admission to its non-engineering courses. HITSCAT exam paper is divided into two parts: English and General Knowledge section + multiple choice questions related to the chosen subject. Apart from this for admission, it is also necessary that the aspirants fulfil the prescribed eligibility requirements.
