Overall good for study, but if you're interested in sports, you may be disappointed by facilities.
Placements: My batch is 2023, and in my batch, the placement rate last year was approximately 92%. It is very good among all colleges, but there are heavy workloads in IT. The lowest package from TCS was 3.6 LPA, and the highest this year, so far, is 51 LPA, by Microsoft to 13 students, all of whom received PPOs.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are highly qualified and more innovative toward research, with a helpful nature towards students. However, some professors make courses too hard just by making grading difficult. This creates mental pressure on students, and because of this, many students leave the course at the beginning.
Faculty: According to me, the course is not absolutely job-ready, but it provides a base for it. The semester exams are harder due to the grading system. The exams are normally hard compared to other universities, but they make you more hardworking. It is also hard to maintain a CGPA, so if you are coming, be prepared to work hard.
Other: I just want to go towards social science courses. They can improve by making them more grounded.

Our college has good placements and great infrastructure.
Placements: About 100% of students were placed in the 2022 batch. The average salary package in our branch was 16 LPA-17 LPA. Mostly, tech companies hire students. Some companies offer management roles. Around 40% of students in our branch got on-campus internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are well equipped with the latest technologies. The mess food is above average. We have all the amenities, such as a laundry room for washing clothes.
Faculty: Courses are subjected to industry requirements. Professors have good knowledge of their subjects. They are ready to help anytime. All teachers here are Ph.D. holders. They are highly qualified. They teach in a very simple manner so that each student understands if he or she is listening carefully. They clear up our doubts.

I am absolutely satisfied with good placements and well maintained infrastructure of our college.
Placements: Since the course curriculum is different from other engineering colleges, the placement procedure is also a bit different here. Approximately 92% of all students are placed in well-known companies every year. The highest salary package offered is 32 LPA, the average salary package offered is 18 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 12 LPA. Google, Goldman Sachs, and Tower Research are the top recruiting companies. Approximately 94% of students got internships in various companies including Tower Research, Microsoft, etc. The top role offered is SDE-2.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IIITD is well maintained and includes all types of facilities including research centers, library, spacious classrooms, etc. Since IIITD is newly built in the 21st century, it has good quality of facilities and infrastructure available. Food quality and the medical facilities are also above average.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very strict in IIITD. They take the plagiarism policy very seriously which sometimes results in failing the student if caught. But it is more aligned to the industry related work and the professors are always ready to help you in your course. The semester exams are although harder than other engineering colleges but the pass percentage is quite good approximately 88%.
Other: The fees of IIITD are quite expensive but the environment they provide is quite good. They have well-planned fests and also provide scholarships to those in need. Extra curricular activities are also very well-promoted throughout your college life.

It is a great college for CS enthusiasts.
Placements: In computer science and social sciences, we are taught everything in computer science, i.e., all CSE courses are taught. In addition to that, we are taught some inter-disciplinary courses which are very good. Our institute gives you all the facilities in this programme, and you are not discriminated against by the college. You will get equal opportunities. Almost every company visiting IIITD allows students from all branches to attend their placement round. So it depends on you how much you use these opportunities. From CSSS, around 96% of students were placed in the recent placement drives, which is quite a good number. The average salary package offered is around 16 LPA, and it is increasing very exponentially every year. The top companies which visit here for placements are Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte and many more. The same companies mentioned above visit here for internships also.
Infrastructure: In terms of facilities and infrastructure, you can compare IIITD with IIT Delhi and other top IITs. This institute provides world-class facilities and infrastructure. The labs are equipped with modern computers, and all facilities are available. The hostel is also well maintained. The quality of food served in the mess is average. There is a swimming pool and gym on the campus.
Faculty: The workload at IIITD is very exceptional. You will not get much free time to explore other things. The course curriculum is updated regularly at IIITD, and it helps you a lot in your career. There is a plagiarism policy due to which you can't cheat at all while doing assignments and projects. If you work hard, this college will provide you a lot.
Other: Many events are organised in IIITD. One event is Odyssey, which is the cultural fest of IIITD, where you will have the most memorable days. This college also provides you with a fee waiver scheme. If you are eligible, then you get some discount on your fees which depends on your annual income.

Academic pressure is more.
Placements: In this current year, due to pandemic, our college provided fewer placements and internships. Around 80% of the students got placed. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, etc., visit our college for placements. The top role offered is SDE.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great, and labs are very good for research with every equipment, especially in the research department. There is a separate block for R&D. Classrooms, seminar halls, canteen and computer labs are awesome with equipped facilities like computers, etc.
Faculty: Since our course is new in this college, faculty members are also new. They are highly managed and specialised in their field. All professors are PhD holders from out of India with good years of experience in their respective fields. TFs and TAs are very supportive and intelligent with good experience, which makes them a good teacher and even a good friend.
Other: I opted for this course because it is good with a combination of CS and social science, which makes it more unique than any other courses. Students get to learn about both CS and SS in their 4 years. The only improvement that should be made here is reducing the workload as it is more, which makes college life bad. Events are good and conducted twice a year.

It is the best college for research and development.
Placements: Since our course, i.e., CSSS is a new course in this college, and hence there are no placement stats. However, by considering other courses placements, our course will also have good placements in future. Every new course which has started in this college in past years is doing very good until now. Placement stats of those courses are also growing every year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel is of very high class. There are air-conditioners in every room, which makes it very good and comfortable for students to learn and study.
Faculty: The course is really helpful, informative and structured in a very good manner to learn about both CS and social science. All faculty members are PhD holders from foreign universities, which make them really knowledgeable and good at teaching things to students. The scope for research is very good here as the faculty members are renowned in the country or world and have very good experience in teaching and in research.
Other: Our course is really good and comfortable with semesters. The only thing which I want our college to improve is it should reduce academic pressure as it is very high here with assignments, deadlines and quizzes all over the week. Events such as fests, etc., organised here are really good. The campus crowd is also very competitive to grow in college.

One of the best college with great placements, infrastructure and research facilities.
Placements: IIIT Delhi has one of the best placement records in India. Ours is the first CSSS batch, so I can't really comment on the placement stats of this course. But overall the placements have been around 98-100% with an average CTC of around 15-16 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure including Wi-fi, research labs, lecture halls, library etc. have excellent infrastructure equipped with modern technologies. We have high-speed internet, 3-D printers, computer labs, GPUs for higher computing and research and other infrastructure that should be present in a world-class research institute. We have a newly-built sports block, where multiple sports facilities are available including badminton, squash, swimming, gym, football, cricket etc. The hostel rooms are also great with AC facility with an infirmary. The mess food is not of that good quality but we have a good canteen to make up for that.
Faculty: Professors here are highly qualified and have published their high-quality research in top journals. The best thing about the college is the curriculum which gets revised, new courses are added keeping the need of industry in mind. We have courses ranging from AI, NLP, Entrepreneurship, Data Science among others.
Other: This is one of the best research institutes in India and has world-class infrastructure along with a very relevant course-curriculum based on today's constantly changing world. The CSSS course is very innovative and first of its kind to be started in India, where we are studying both Computer Science and Social Sciences. So, it's trying to bridge a gap between tech and humanities and this will be a great starting point for interdisciplinary progress in the research field.

IIITD has amazing placements, modern infrastructure, top faculty members and great curriculum.
Placements: IIIT Delhi placements are among the best in the country. More than 105 companies like Google, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Microsoft, etc., visited the campus with a total of 702 offers in which 409 are full time, and 293 are interns offers. IN B.Tech, 100% of the students of CSE and CSAM branches got placed. More than 90% of students of the ECE branch got placed. The highest salary package offered for B.Tech is 154.79 LPA and M.Tech is 36 LPA. The average salary package offered for B.Tech is 16.97 LPA and M.Tech is 16.03 LPA in IIIT Delhi. These stats are amazing.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, which is 25 acres as compared to other colleges like DTU, NSIT, etc., but the space utilisation is done perfectly by college authorities. The campus is modern and much like a foreign university. Labs are also equipped with modern and fresh technology. The institute is Wi-Fi enabled with high-speed internet all over the campus. All the buildings on the campus are air-conditioned. Hostels have single, double and triple occupancy, and they are way better than hostels of most of the government colleges. Any student of Delhi or outside Delhi can opt for a hostel. Sports facilities are also good here. The campus has a newly built sports-block with a swimming pool, badminton court, squash court, gym, pool, billiards hall, etc. The library is well-equipped with various books and its kindle editions, and also has separate study spaces for students.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members at IIITD have done a PhD from foreign universities and IITs. They are very knowledgeable and supportive of students. The course curriculum is fresh and similar to foreign universities with CS courses introduced in the first semester itself. The institute also follows strict plagiarism policies. The primary focus is on learning the concepts rather than simply rote learning or copying someone else's work. Therefore, the curriculum of the courses is very demanding due to which there is very less time left for sports and extracurricular activities.
Other: I have chosen this course because computer science and social sciences is a very different and good branch in which we study computer science courses with additional social science courses. It is good to have knowledge of computer science along with the knowledge of the social world. It is a good mixture of studies. The crowd at IIITD is good and competent, which makes a student more competitive. All the branches have a good curriculum, and students learn what is required in their work field in the future. The focus on learning and great curriculum are the reasons why placements stats are increasing every year. The campus is never crowded because of less intake of total students as compared to other colleges like DTU, NSIT, etc. The college fest named Odyssey is growing year by year with increasing popularity among students as it hosted stars like Gajendra Verma in the last year and Jubin Nautiyal in this year. The institute is located at a prime location of South-Delhi due to which students have many options to explore outside the college. Moreover, the institute treats students like adults and gives them a sense of freedom. The institute has good and active clubs and committees that organise decent events from time to time.
