It is a great college with a lavish campus and excellent placements, but with extra academic loads.
Placements: Approximately 95% of students are placed in my branch this year. The highest package is around 50 LPA, the average package is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 12 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google and Microsoft. The internship rate is very high, around 80%, in companies like Microsoft and Goldman Sachs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great as it was established in 2008. The new and developed buildings are there. Wi-Fi is available in every corner of the campus and is different for mobiles and laptops. Labs and classrooms are well maintained, while the library has access to every type of book in every genres, whether academic or non-academic. The hostel facilities are also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, with more than 10 years of experience from prestigious institutes. The course curriculum is very relevant, it's foreign-type and thus makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are a little tough.
Other: There are many fests, like Odyssey, Astra, and Esya.

Very hard to sustain because of many deadlines, but really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Our college is best for placement if you're capable of studying. Placement percentage is around 65% this year, which is good as this year was very different. My branch has the highest placement percentage, which is around 80%. Many companies are there, such as Goldman Sachs, Winzo, etc. Software engineer and many high-level roles were offered.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is very good; it is not vast as it is only 35 acres, but the buildings and everything are very good. Hostels are very good compared to other colleges. Wi-Fi in the college campus is very good and never disappoints. Labs are very well maintained, and the PCs are good there. Classrooms are vast, and the lecture halls are spacious. The library has three floors; it is very good, and each section is divided for studies and discussion. The hostel mess is very good as there are 2 messes. It has good sports equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, but some teachers were not that good, to be honest. The course curriculum is very good, as it does not teach Physics and Chemistry in the 1st semester and focuses on skills, coding, and Maths. Exams are not that difficult, and grading is relatively easy in almost all subjects.
Other: I like Maths and engineering. I would like it to focus more on coding, as it is a Maths course. Events are not that good, but the Odyssey fest is very good.

Worth the money, providing great opportunities, and facilities.
Placements: In 2024, the number of people placed in our college was quite low, with an average percentage of 30% placed. Applied Mathematics branches can apply and are always selected for any CSE or CSAI departments. The number of people offered internships was also quite low compared to the previous batches. Many companies that were supposed to provide PPO's did not provide PPO's. The top roles offered in placements were SDE roles. Jio, Oracle, Meesho, IBM, SCry Analytics, and Microsoft being among the top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very nice, and the classrooms are top-notch, including the labs, library, and RND. The labs are open to whoever don't have any access to any laptop or device or are just looking for a place to sit between classes. The hostel is also very nice; we have FMS services, which will take any complaints, clean your room, and service the AC in your room. The washrooms are also clean, as they ensure a daily cleaning policy. The quality of food in the mess is average; some day's you'll get good food, and some days you won't. The food available in canteen is below average. Most have to order on food delivery apps.
Faculty: The faculty is very nice and supportive and are well reputed in there respective fields. The teaching quality for some professors is very good; others vary. The evaluation varies from professor to professor, but you'll get plenty of time to focus on extracurricular activities or any other thing you are planning to do, as there is no strict attendance policy (which may vary from professor to professor). The course curriculum is very relevant, and most professors follow the curriculum from Stanford, which is difficult but is used in the respective fields. The curriculum is very rigorous compared to any other college, with the constant assignments. Quizzes give a very heavy workload but prepare the students for the on-coming industry. The semester exams are tough compared to other colleges If you are regularly attending the classes, you'll notice it is slightly easier, but compared to peers in NSUT or DTU, it will be like walking in the park. You are graded based on a curve, so the passing percentage varies according to the average marks. Some professors prefer absolute grading.
Other: I chose the CSAM course at IIIT because it perfectly combines the rigor of CS with the analytical depth of mathematics. This course helped me to equip with essential skills to tackle complex real-world problems, making it an ideal pathway for a career in data science, machine learning or algorithm development. The best things about my course are strong faculty support. They are not only experts in there respective fields but also mentors who encourage innovation and exploration. Also, there are abundant opportunities for research, allowing students to engage in projects that push the boundaries of their knowledge. Also, the course is aligned with industry trends . IIITD hosts exciting events like Tech Fest, cultural celebrations, and hackathons that enrich student life and foster collaboration. The diverse student body creates an engaging atmosphere, encouraging the exchange of ideas and collaborative thinking . The campus is conveniently located near 3 metro stations. The closest being Harkesh Nagar, the other two being Okhla NSIC and Govindpuri. The campus is really beautiful and well maintained, proving a conducive environment for both studying and relaxation. Various scholarships are available for fees and some provide you with devices such as laptops. The campus also has a sports block having activities like squash, badminton, table tennis, and swimming pool. Pool and snooker table—the equipment for these is provided apart from swimming.

Good placements but very hectic schedule.
Placements: In our course, 100 percent students were placed in campus placement drive. Around 100+ companies came for campus placement like Microsoft, Google, Reliance Jio, etc. And in the whole batch around 1/3rd students got internship offers. The roles were mainly of SDE role and Development.
Infrastructure: The IIITD campus is famous for its infrastructure and though the campus is small, it has necessarily everything required for a good campus life. The food in the mess is pretty average (not that good) and sports and medical facilities are fine. The R&D department of IIITD has good labs and opportunities are abundant for those who want to work.
Faculty: The teachers mainly have no direct contact with students and some of the teachers are very good some just read the slides. Though all the faculty members are highly qualified and experts in their fields and you can reach out to them for help and for independent projects. The course curriculum is very hectic and sometimes irrelevant burden with respect to other colleges. The things and the assignments we do, are not that much beneficial for placement as in the end you must be good in DSA and other things. But if you do them properly, then they can be added in your resumes. The passing criteria varies with subjects and professors choice, though it is generally 33 percent. Semesters are quite difficult as moving forward.
Other: I chose this course because it has 100 percent placement benchmark up until now and initially I was interested in Mathematics, and my course specifically has lots of Maths courses. Scholarships and financial assistance is provided and the college has lots of clubs which organizes events, so you can be a part of it and have fun.

Review of IIIT Delhi - Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology.
Placements: More than 98% of students got placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and Tower Research Capital. Top roles offered are SDE and analyst. Around 150 out of 450 students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is top-notch. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The hostel is air-conditioned. Laboratories have good equipment. The sports complex is good and has good equipment. The library is open 24X7 for students to study. Canteen is open 24X7.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified. Projects given to students through the courses make students develop real-world skills. The workload is high compared to other colleges, and it can be difficult for some students.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to pursue computer science, and I like doing Maths. Fests and events are good.
