Best placements and good infrastructure, but academic life is stressful.
Placements: Placement is not good initially. But later on, almost 300+ students get placed out of 500, with an average package of 24 LPA, showing strong and well opportunities for future and development. If you're looking for the most advanced tech curriculum, this is the place.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch.
Faculty: Faculty is internationally graduated and is some of the best I could study with. However, some professors do not have the best teaching methods. Teaching and knowledge are two different things, but the professors never get stuck on the questions I ask. Faculty is supportive, and exams are a bit trickier than I expected, but this prepares us for the best. The course gets hectic, and academics are challenging. Every other day there are tutorials and quizzes that carry a lot of weight. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you don't attend classes, even YouTube can't save you.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed in my branch. The highest CTC is 77.42 LPA, and the average is 20.76 LPA. Qualcomm and Synopsys were some of the top recruiters. 30-40% of students got internship offers. core electronics and SDE roles are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: Every facility is available, whether it’s Wi-Fi, all kinds of labs, research labs, library, 300-500 seater classrooms. The quality of the food is good. Medical facilities are available 24/7. The sports center is open 24/7, with a swimming pool, table tennis, volleyball court, badminton court, basketball court, football and cricket shared ground, cricket nets, lawn tennis court, squash, billiards, pool table, chess, air hockey, and many more. The hostel infrastructure is really good, with AC rooms available.
Faculty: All the faculty members have done Ph.D. in their domain from prestigious institutes all over the world, and they are highly knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is industry-relevant and almost makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult, but almost the whole class gets passing marks.

Hectic routine placements are going down, but it's best for research people.
Placements: 10% of students opt for this branch as it is a comparatively hard course. The average package for this branch is around 23 LPA. STM, Nvidia, Qualcomm, etc., are top recruiters. Few students get internships, but it all depends on the student. ECE is vast, so it has many roles that can’t be just started here.
Infrastructure: Labs and all the needed things for the course are top-notch, and the Hostel and food quality are really good. You can completely depend on them. Sports Block has everything you would want, and they also have a good medical center, so no worries.
Faculty: It all depends on the teacher. Some teachers just want to take the lecture, and there are teachers who want to teach, I hope you get it. Most of courses and the curriculum make students industry-ready. Exams are not very difficult. 30% to pass every course, but the grade distribution is good, so it's not easy to fail. Professors are really good. Some are strict, but they are all very helpful if you seek their help.
Other: This course is evergreen but really hard. If you're truly interested in it, only then take it else look for something else. My interest and the live things happening in labs, along with doing all, it make me understand better. Events, fests, and all the extra activities are good and happen every month.

Good placement and Amazing Fests.
Placements: The placement generally is close to 95-99% with the highest recent package being 51lac per annum. The average and median package is quite good compared to other colleges. Median stands around 18-21 lac with top recruiters like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm, Goldman Sachs, Mathworks, JIO. The internship range to near about 50% students. Top role offered is of SDE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IIITD is one of the best in nation with Airconditioned hostels and library. The lecture hall has 3 big halls with many other rooms also available for classes. We have a sports block dedicated to different indoor and outdoor sports like Squash, Badminton, Basketball, Pool. We also have a swimming pool and a gym which is open 24x7. There are 2 mess available and 1 canteen along with 4-5 more eating points in campus. Canteen is open 24 hours. We have nurses and doctor available inside campus.
Faculty: The curriculum is top notch and updated with the only drawback being its difficult. Teachers, TAs and TFs are helpful and approachable. All our faculty members are from renowned college like IITs. The curriculum is designed in such a way to make us industry ready. It is completely relevant to the present upgradation in technologies. The semester exams are difficult but the course grading components not only depend on midsem and endsem but also on quizzes and assignment. The passing percentage is good as almost most of our courses are relatively grading.
Other: ECE is one of the best branches at IIITD apart from CSE as it is one of the oldest and most developed branch with most research being done in it. The college is research oriented. The curriculum could be made a little easy with also the feels being reduced a little after the sudden topping of Delhi government Scholarship. Events and fest wise IIITD has created its own brand with The Cultural Fest ODYSSEY, teach fest ESYA, entrepreneurship fest E'SUMMIT and sports fest ASTRA. We have invited a large number of celebrities like SALIM SULAIMAN and JUBIN NAUTIYAL.

Our college has great placements, infrastructure, and facilities.
Placements: Placements are good in this college. Even during the pandemic, placements were good. Many companies visit our campus for recruitment. International companies also visit our college to hire students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. Wi-Fi is average. Classrooms have all facilities like boards, smart boards, projectors, etc. The laboratory is excellent. There is a decent library in this college. All the resources are available that you need in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but few of them are not helpful and arrogant. The course curriculum is highly challenging for students. If we work hard then we can easily score good marks.

No, there is no chance. After applying via OBC quota and home state quota also you are not eligible for the expected college and the desired branch. Since your rank is too high for admission in IIIT-D, you must secure a general category rank under 20000 then through OBC category and home state quota

Yes, you can easily get admission in this college with this score. But, you should try for the other good colleges of Delhi, Ghaziabad and other private colleges as your score is quite good.

It's too late to answer but your question is relevant. With your marks in 12th your rank would be better compared with marks of JEE Mains only. Hence, I feel you have a reasonable chance.
