IIFT Delhi Course Admissions 2025: Last Date, Eligibility, Application, Fees, Selection

The modes of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade course admissions are offline and online. Admission to various postgraduate and Certificate courses is based on merit and entrance exam scores. At the postgraduate level, the deemed to be university offers M.A. MBA, and various other courses to students. The deemed-to-be university also provides Certificate Executive M.A., Ph.D., and various other courses to students. 

For an MBA at IIFT Delhi, an aspirant must fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria. Admission to MBA was earlier through IIFT exam. However, IIFT accepts CAT scores for MBA. In order to apply, a candidate can fill out the application form by visiting the IIFT website (iift.ac.in). CAT registration shall be completed separately through its official website. Candidates are further shortlisted based on merit in the entrance test, academic records, gender diversity, and aggregate obtained in Class 10 and Class 12. The final selection is further done on the basis of CAT exam score, writing assessment, group discussion, work experience, and interview round.

IIFT Delhi admission is open for 2025 session. Interested candidates have to apply online on the institute's website. The institute offers admission IIFT shortlists candidates for MBA (IB and BA) programmes based on CAT scores. For other courses, such as MA and PhD, the institute shall continue to conduct entrance exams.

IIFT Delhi accepts CAT scores for MBA (IB & BA) specialisations. Earlier the admission was through the IIFT exam. However, in an official notification, the institute has announced that will accept the national-level exam score now. After the conclusion of the entrance test, candidates shall be shortlisted for further selection rounds. Shortlisted candidates are further required to participate in the written test, group discussion and personal interview round. The final selection is done based on overall performance in the selection rounds.

To be eligible for admission to an Executive PGDM course at IIFT Delhi, candidates need to meet the criteria as defined by the institute. The eligibility requirements are slightly different for both the Executive PGDM courses as defined below:

Global Human Resource Management (EPGD-GHRM)	- Graduation with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD) or PG degree or any professional degree along with at least 2 years of work experience. Only managerial work experience until May of the admission year will be considered.  - OR, 3 years of work experience in Management/executive level - There is no age limit.
International Business (EPGDIB)	- Graduation or equivalent from any recognised university and managerial work experience of at least five years.  - OR, Candidates with a postgraduate degree/Engineering degree or its equivalent are also eligible to apply for the course.

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi offers three certificate courses. Classes for these courses are conducted on weekends. The duration of the certificate programmes is four-months. Moreover, the courses offered are named Export Import Management, Capital and Financial Markets, and Global Trade Logistics and Operations. Admission to IIFT Delhi certificate courses is based on the candidate’s performance in the interview round conducted at the IIFT campus.

IIFT Delhi registrations are carried out in online mode. An application fee of INR 2,500 (General category) or INR 1,000 (Reserved category) to apply for IIFT Delhi PG admission. The application fee is not refundable. Find below the steps to complete the application process:

IIFT Delhi is accepting CAT score for admission to MBA (IB & BA) courses for the 2024-2026 batch. Moreover, the IIFT Delhi 2024 application form is expected to be released in the October. The application window will further be open till the second week of November. This application schedule is as per past years' data. Hence, are expected dates. IIFT Delhi MBA fees varies based on the selected programme and depends upon the mode of education. The fee structure composes of different components, including tuition fees, refundable security money, and more. IIFT Delhi MBA one-time fee ranges from INR 5,000 to INR 50,000. Moreover, the tuition fees for the available MBA programmes is as follows:

• MBA in International Business: INR 21.77 lakh
• MBA in Business Analytics: INR 17.17 lakh
• MBA in International Business (Weekend course): INR 9.45 lakh

Yes, IIFT Delhi offers scholarships to postgraduate students. Those students who have filled the IIFT entrance exam application form can look for the university fee and if they find the fee a little high, they can apply for scholarships after they get admission. Some of the scholarships provided by the university are Need-Based Scholarship Scheme, Scholarships offered by the Government of India, Scholarships offered by Other Organizations, and others. 

The IIFT Delhi scholarship eligibility criteria is decided by the university. For scholarships like Need Based Scholarship Scheme, the eligibility criteria is students of MBA (IB) full time course who have taken a loan and whose family income is less than INR 6 LPA can apply for this scholarship. The IIFT cut offs for admission to MBA International Business are determined the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Delhi for all three campuses. The NTA has no role in the admission process of IIFT. It only conducts the entrance exam and its role ends with preparation and release of IIFT entrance exam result. The IIFT Delhi determines the admission cut off on the basis of certain factors such as number of applicants, number of test takers, difficulty level of the exam, number of seats, previous year's cut offs, etc. There are two types of cut offs in IIFT - qualifying cut offs and final cut offs. The qualifying cut offs, are mere eligibility score that the candidate has to score to be eligible for selection to the extempore and PI round. The final IIFT cut offs are the marks on which candidates are actually selected for the extempore and PI round.
