B.Tech. in Information Technology - Batch of 2026
5.0
For education purposes, this is basically our Indus College.
Placements: It's a nice college, and placements are really not good, but you have to know the humanity and what people need for placement, and you have to visit this college.
Infrastructure: We have a college in the Racharda area, and all people come from home, hostel, and also PG students here. They come to study from outside the city and country. They really love the college, and the hostel is too good. There are two or three sharing rooms in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful to us, and exams are given based on attendance. If attendance is low, then we will not be allowed to attend the exam. We also have events like playing games and mind games at the national level. People are very friendly, and the campus is so good for me.

Good infrastructure and industry-relevant curriculum but placements need improvement.
Placements: Indus University is a private university dedicated to providing education to students in various fields such as engineering, management, design, and computer applications. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T and Byjus, and other companies for placement.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and digital resources campus provide speed Wi Fi connectivity and a good environment lab with advanced computers with latest hardware and software. Classrooms are equipped with smart projectors, audio-visual, and comfortable seating. They have well well-stocked library with journal resources like IEEE, NPTEL, and others for students.
Faculty: Faculty members at Indus University are well qualified and knowledgeable with many having industry experience in IT, software development, and research. From my course, B. Tech IT curriculum is designed to be industry oriented like programming languages(python, java, C/C++), data structure, web development, cyber security, etc.
Other: I chose this course because of my passion for software development, AI, cyber security, and automation. IT offers various career opportunities from web and mobile app development to data analysis and cloud computing. The best things about my course are hands-on learning, industry-relevant subjects, and opportunities for internships and placements.

Well-developed infrastructure and active campus life with industry-focused learning.
Placements: Approximately 90% of students have been placed in recent years. The highest package was INR 30 LPA (2022). The average package was INR 6.8 LPA (2022). The lowest package was INR 4 LPA (2022). Sales manager, web developer, and app developer are the positions in companies like TCS, Adani, MG, Amazon, and Byju's.
Infrastructure: Laboratories are outfitted with advanced systems supporting both Windows and Linux servers, providing students with hands-on experience with the latest software packages. Library spans over 600 square meters. The library houses more than 36,000 volumes covering diverse disciplines, along with subscriptions to over 250 national and international journals. Digital resources, including CDS and DVDs, are also available. Separate hostels are there for boys and girls, featuring spacious, well-furnished rooms with 24/7 power supply, Wi-Fi connectivity, televisions, water purifiers, and coolers. Recreational amenities like facilities for indoor and outdoor games, along with a state-of-the-art gym and fitness center are there.
Faculty: Many students have noted that faculty members are friendly, supportive, and well-educated, providing quality education. Some reviews highlight challenges such as an overload of teaching hours, delayed salaries, and limited time for research, which may impact teaching effectiveness. The university emphasis practical and industrial training, aiming to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements. The curriculum is designed to meet industry standards, focusing on practical learning, innovation, and skill development to prepare students for the professional world.
Other: Students have raised the faculty members for their qualifications and supportive nature, contributing positively to the learning experience. Some students have noted that the management could be more efficient, suggesting room for improvement in administrative operations.

Try searching for government college if you are not eligible for it then come to this university.
Placements: Placement season is underway, and 40% of students have already been placed. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The top companies that recruited were Roima Intelligence, TCS, Gateway, Infosys, Velorax, and Medcart. In terms of internships, 20% of students were placed. The top roles offered were in web development and app development.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, with air-conditioned classrooms and labs. The campus has free Wi-Fi, and there are popular food franchises like Tea Post and Nescafe. The college also has a canteen that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Faculty: The teaching at this college is average. If we have doubts, the faculty is available to help us. However, the course curriculum is a bit out of date, and some subjects are boring and irrelevant to the course we are enrolled in. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate.
Other: If you are eligible for a tuition fee waiver, you can apply in the TFWS category in ACPC. You will need to provide proof of your eligibility.

Good infrastructure, but needs improvement in the way it is taught.
Placements: Placement is good, and they offer an average 3.05 LPA package to students. If I talk about my class, 60–70% of students have decided to go abroad for further study as they are not interested in university placement, but 70–80% of students get placement through on-campus drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is modern and good. They have a Wi-Fi facility too. The library and classrooms are wide enough too accommodate 100 people at a time. I am disappointed with the canteen service, as the quality is not too good and the price is too high. But the overall experience is good.
Faculty: The way of teaching I don't like. Also, one faculty member has many roles and subjects, so it is quite boring to attend, and even faculty members do not have enough knowledge about whatever they are teaching. So I would say it was a worse experience for me, as I took help from online courses and YouTube in order to complete my study.
Other: The university is good at arranging extracurricular activities, but remember that not all activities are free for students. You have to pay for some of them, as these are organised by faculty members and students.

Good college and faculty.
Placements: It's about 60-70 percent placement in our college. The highest package is 10 LPA while the lowest is 2 LPA. The average is 4 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Byjus, and Accenture are the top recruiting companies. The college doesn't provide internships, but they offer paid courses. I have no clue about the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The college has the following facilities: ATM, AC Labs and Classrooms, Canteen, Hostel for Girls and Boys, Teapost & Nescafe, Library, Wi-Fi. I have never been to the hostel, but according to my friends, the rooms of the hostels are good, and they provide delicious and healthy food. We have a ground for cricket, football, volleyball, and basketball, along with facilities for indoor games.
Faculty: Almost all the faculty members are highly qualified and skilled. They guide us in each and every task and are very friendly. The teaching quality is quite good. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant. They provide excellent practical knowledge that makes us ready for the industry. I would rate the difficulty of exams 4 out of 5 stars. The pass percentage is about 80-85 percent.
Other: I chose IT because this course provides a wide knowledge of different computer languages and also provides us the needed knowledge. As per the current trend, IT is the fastest growing sector. We can get six months of industrial training in well-known companies. There are a lot of events that help to cheer and connect with different people. Major events are Instincts and Sparx. We can reach college by boarding an AMTS or by college bus. The college doesn't provide scholarships.

This college provides the best education.
Placements: Many students have great placements. In this college, the highest package is INR 13.67 Lacs per year. And the lowest package is INR 5 lacs or something. Companies for this course are Willmark, Pregrade, etc. For internships, students should have at least 7.5 to 8.5 out of 10 and will be offered internships at Willmark, Pregrade, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classroom, library. Average food quality in the canteen. But, mess and tea post have best qualities in food. In hostel, we have many facilities like B.Ed A. C. , breakfast, lunch, dinner, canteen, medical facilities etc. For sports and games this college have great facilities.
Faculty: Teaching quality is the best. Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Sometimes they took extra lectures for doubt-solving. And this is the best quality of this college. If you are not studying, exams are difficult for you. Passing percentage is 5 to 6 out of 10.
Other: The campus is very attractive, and I like teaching method.

It is a good university with amazing surroundings.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest is nearly 3 LPA. Byjus, TechBee, IBM, and many other companies offered placements. Our university helps with startups. All students get internships in their third year. It is very good.
Infrastructure: Lecture halls are good. They have air conditioners and projectors. The hostel has a TV and Wi-Fi. The security is also good. You can't go out after 6 PM. You have to take permission from your parents. The food is good. They serve food three times a day. The university has also a gaming zone where we can play computer games and indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. They communicate with students. They also explain topics in Hindi. They conduct exams every three months. The first-year curriculum is easy, but then you have to learn and practice. The pass percentage is 33%.
