Honest review about Indus University.
Placements: Every student gets an option to opt in and opt out of the placement. Whoever opts in for the placement. They have a 90 percent chance of getting the placement from the campus. The highest package that has been given from the college is about 9 LPA and the lowest package is about 3.50 LPA for my course which is Computer Science. The top recruiting company is Bank of America. 20 percent of students got internships from my course and decent companies offered by the college. The top role that is offered is a data scientist and AI/ML.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent. It has a real aeroplane on the campus and it makes the campus attractive. The facilities provided by the university for my course include Wi-Fi, computer labs, library, and sports facilities like cricket, football, basketball, and many indoor games. All classrooms have one projector which helps students to understand easily. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is decent and it is hygienic. The hostel provides two or three beds in single rooms and a personal study table and one wardrobe per person.
Faculty: he faculty at Indus University is very helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable to ask doubts at any time through messages or in person. The teaching quality is phenomenal. The course curriculum is very relevant and it makes students industry-oriented which helps them in their future. The semester exams in the college are moderate and the pass percentage is 90 percent. Some of them have to repeat the exam.
Other: I chose this Computer Science course because I was very passionate about it. The best thing about this course is that it keeps me updated about all new technologies used in the industries. The thing I wish would be better is the faculty members who are not very experienced in my course Indus University hosts events frequently. The campus crowd is very decent. It has Wi-Fi connectivity and many extracurricular activities are done in this university. It has many different clubs like cultural club, sports club, design club, and many more clubs.

Faculty and staff are really well qualified.
Placements: There are 326 students in my course. There are good chances of getting placed; typically, people get about 3 LPA to 7 LPA from placements held by the university specifically for my course. Top recruiters are topmost Indian companies such as Infosys and TCS.
Infrastructure: Actually, I haven't enrolled in a hostel, but the overall infrastructure of the college is not relevant or reliable for me as a student. Things like having sports and extracurricular activities are really important for students to keep their minds calm when they have a lot of stress about the future.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and good; their teaching skills are excellent. But I have one problem with them: they become very rude and arrogant sometimes. The course curriculum is almost the same as at every other university in my hometown, Ahmedabad.

The college has good faculty, infrastructure and average placements.
Placements: In my course, some of the students want to go out of India while the others want to start their businesses and some want to pursue higher degrees in India. So, many of the students do not sit for placements. The ratio of placements should be around 50-70% of the students who sit in the placements round. As per my knowledge, the highest package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest package was around 2 LPA. The average package offered was 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Accenture, and Wipro come for campus placements. As per my knowledge, the students have to complete three internships as per government norms. So, around 80-95% students got internships. It can be either paid or free.
Infrastructure: The college includes ATM, cold water, parking, Computer Labs, AC Classrooms, Canteen, Hostels for girls and boys, Tea Post, Nescafe, Wi-Fi, Library, and gym in the campus. I am not staying in the hostel but my friends are. High quality is maintained in the hostel. Also, the quality of food is the best. You can play games with your teams like Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are so helpful towards the students, They are highly qualified and the qualifications data is mentioned on the college website. The way they teach is also good. Mainly in the Computer Engineering branch, practical knowledge is more important than theoretical knowledge. So, the curriculum involves labs for practical knowledge. The semester exams are not so difficult if you have focused on your studies and prepared well for the exams. The passing percentage is around 80%. Some students may be detained for their low attendance.
Other: I wanted to study Computer Engineering since I was in 6th standard. In this course, I have access to practical knowledge and there are so many new emerging technologies which will make our work easy. The college has some clubs which organize various fest, extracurricular activities and workshops to improve your skills. Mainly SAC and CESA arrange annual events. They also manage or arrange many events for the students. As per my knowledge, there is no scholarship offered by the college. But if you are a student of Gujarat you can get the government scholarships like MYSY, CMSS, Digital Gujarat Scholarship, etc.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, the average salary package is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, TCS, and Infosys. Around 80-90% of students got internships in companies like EY, Capgemini, and WebEarl. Top roles offered are software developer, full stack web developer, and AI/ML developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. Classrooms have smart boards, whiteboards, and air-conditioners. Library has books on various domains and journals for different subjects. The quality of the facilities is very good. Food served in the mess is hygienic and many students have opted for it. Medical facilities are available 24X7 with a doctor and a pharmacy on campus. Our college encourages sports. It organises various inter-college and intra-college tournaments around the year.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful. They have done Ph.D. and are experts in their domains. Teaching quality is great and easily understandable. The course curriculum is relevant. It includes the latest subjects with the updated syllabus and new technologies, which makes students industry ready. Semester exams are difficult to pass and students need to study throughout the semester. The pass percentage is 60-70%.

Our college has good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: In our college, almost 70-80% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 12.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Green Gold, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. We have libraries, classrooms, a chemistry lab, and a physics lab. Many computer labs are available. Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: Our teachers have good knowledge about courses. They teach in different languages, which helps us learn easier. Semester exams are difficult.

Absolutely satisfied with the college!
Placements: Students in the past got valuable placements from this college in many valuable companies. Reputed organizations visit for placement. The college offers internship for students who are interested, and also helps students to get placements. Recently my friend git got placed for 8 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: We have a playground in our campus and also have hostel facility. Boys and girls hostel are good. We have a gym and medical services are also offered. The campus has good library which has all the books available for semester exams. College provide free Wi-Fi to enrolled students by just login your credentials .
Faculty: Teachers of this college are good. They are qualified to teach. Even if you take review class, they never tend to disappoint. They support students in passing the course. The curriculum was over-all good as I have completed my 3 sem here and I feel satisfied to learn from them .
Other: I have chosen this course because I was interested in computer Science since childhood. Computers are required to be updated in our coll 2 4 is a government college due to which it lacks in some aspect. Many events are organized in our campus. Teachers are very helpful .

When there are no other options, it is a good choice.
Placements: In Indus, most students are not interested in placements as they want to pursue higher education in their respective fields. Approximately 30% of students sit in placements from which students scoring more than 7 CGPA get selected. The top placement is 10.2 LPA and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. Companies like IBM, Electrotherm, L & T, Byjus, Google, Facebook, and Amazon come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are big enough and are all equipped with projectors and fans. It would be great if they had air conditioning. The library is huge and has most of all the books related to the course. There is free Wi-Fi on the campus. Hostels are separate for boys and girls. The food quality in the canteen is average. There is a cricket ground, a football ground, and a volleyball net.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and highly qualified. Most of them have doctorates. A few exceptions are rude. In the core subjects, teaching quality is good but not up to the mark in open electives. In each subject, there are a total of 100 marks, which are separated into 60 marks for the CIE component, of which 40 marks are for the mid-semester exam and 20 for the internal. The end of semester exam is worth 40 marks. One has to achieve 24 out of 60 and 16 out of 40 to pass the subject. Exams are at a moderate level.

Placements: I am a student of Computer Engineering (B.Tech) and our batch is good and is eager to learn new skills. We have a quality education. Faculty members are almost the best and they teach & explain us very well. Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. are some of the top recruiting companies in our university. Students can get placements in roles like data scientist, data analyst, software engineer, cloud engineer, database manager, It expert and professional coder or even a web developer.
Infrastructure: Indus University has its own huge library, it has labs for Chemistry, Physics, electronics & communication, Internet and DSA, computer. Architecture dept. BBA MBA dept. , Digital classrooms for our course and much more. - Hostel offers quality food, 2 times meal, 1 time breakfast and one time snacks. Rooms are neat and with good facilities like bed cupboard, chair, table, etc. It has free Wi-Fi too! Sports like volleyball, basketball, football & cricket; medical facilities are also there and thus a healthy and safe place to spend life in along with education & learning skills.
Faculty: Teachers & faculty members are highly qualified. You are free to ask any doubts live or even after college time, by contacting through social media or a call. They teach & explain in best way, so students are get clarified with concepts. Semester exams are kept average so even the less-scoring student have to do good efforts to pass, so he will able to show his knowledge skills and toppers will have a fair competition, motivating all others to compete.
Other: I am interested in data Science and Android & web development, so I selected this course. Subjects per semester should be kept limited in order to make student proper in adequate skills.
Events, webinars, talks, seminars, game events; are being held by group of clubs formed by coordinators & volunteers.

A Bio student is not eligible to pursue a BTech in computer science following their 12th studies in India as of 2024, according to a UGC and AICTE. Mathematics, physics, and chemistry are required courses for all applicants to BTech engineering institutes.
