STEP 1: Indus University BTech Application Process 2025

The admission process is looked upon by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). therefore, it is important for the students to get themselves registered with the ACPC.

Step 1.1: Candidates have to register through the online portal from the official website.

Step 1.2: After verifying the email, filling up the online form with all the details requested is expected.

Step 1.3: Pay the application fee and submit the application form.

STEP 2: College Allotment Process

The students, on the basis of merit, are selected for admission by the ACPC for the 50% sanctioned seats of the merit quota. The other 50% seats are available for the Management quota, wherein the students can opt for direct admission by paying the required amount of fees.

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

Upon selection, the students are required to pay the fees of the university for confirming the admission and seat.

For education purposes, this is basically our Indus College.

Placements: It's a nice college, and placements are really not good, but you have to know the humanity and what people need for placement, and you have to visit this college.

Infrastructure: We have a college in the Racharda area, and all people come from home, hostel, and also PG students here. They come to study from outside the city and country. They really love the college, and the hostel is too good. There are two or three sharing rooms in the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful to us, and exams are given based on attendance. If attendance is low, then we will not be allowed to attend the exam. We also have events like playing games and mind games at the national level. People are very friendly, and the campus is so good for me.

I am disappointed with the poor faculty, fake placements, and average facilities.

Placements: Placements are not high. Many students are unplaced. The highest package is 10 LPA. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA. The lowest package ranges from 2-3 LPA. No big brands come to hire students. Mostly small or local companies visit the college. There is no proper system for internships. Students have to find them on their own, and the college doesn't even give an attendance if we miss classes for our internships. No such top roles are offered in my course.

Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are nice and well-maintained. There is no Wi-Fi for personal use, and it has only limited access for official work. The library is also decent. Hostel rooms are average. Food in a mess is sometimes tasty and sometimes not. I never saw a medical room in my college, so I do not have an idea about it. Sports facilities are great.

Faculty: Some teachers are not even qualified to teach. Honesty, 1 in 20 is a genuinely good teacher. The rest do not appear to know the subject well. Many just read slides or dictate notes without a real explanation. Overall, teaching quality is poor and not very helpful for learning. The course curriculum is mostly outdated and doesn't fully match current industry requirements. We will have to learn most of the real and practical skills on our own. Semester exams are not very difficult, and the pass percentage is high. If we just prepare from past papers or notes, passing is easy.

Other: I chose this course because I am interested in the field and thought it would give me good career opportunities. The only good part is that labs and classrooms are decent. Things that I need improvement in are teachers and the syllabus. Events and fests are not very exciting. The campus crowd is not very active in terms of academic or technical clubs. Connectivity is easy. It also provides bus services. The campus surroundings are not decent. I don't have any idea about scholarships. Extracurricular activities are limited and mostly student-driven, with not much support from the college.

The top roles offered were in web development and app development.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, with air-conditioned classrooms and labs. The campus has free Wi-Fi, and there are popular food franchises like Tea Post and Nescafe. The college also has a canteen that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Faculty: The teaching at this college is average. If we have doubts, the faculty is available to help us. However, the course curriculum is a bit out of date, and some subjects are boring and irrelevant to the course we are enrolled in. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate.

Top recruiters included Microsoft, Infosys, and Amazon. Over 70% secured internships in companies like Wipro, TCS, and Zoho, with roles in software developer, data analyst, and QA.

Infrastructure: Our computer science department is well-equipped with modern labs. It has high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a central library with access to journals and e-resources. Hostel provides decent rooms with basic amenities, 24X7 water and electricity, and Wi-Fi. Mess food is average but hygienic, with a variety of vegetarian options. Campus also includes medical facilities with a visiting doctor, and good sports infrastructure including cricket, football ground, and indoor games like table tennis and chess.

Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, helpful, and knowledgeable, with many holding M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. The teaching quality is good, with practical exposure through labs and projects. Other: I am from the 2021-2025 B.Tech computer science batch. I chose this course due to my interest in technology and software development. The best parts are hands-on learning, coding exposure, and placement opportunities. However, more industry-oriented electives and updated lab equipment would improve it further. Campus hosts annual tech and cultural fests, with active clubs for coding, drama, and sports. Crowd is diverse and competitive. Connectivity is good, and the campus surroundings are peaceful. Overall, it is a good college compared to other tier-3 colleges.

Placements: Placements are good compared to other tier-3 colleges. The highest salary package offered ranges from 30 LPA - 40 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA. ROI is also favorable because the B.Tech CSE fee is Rs. 1 Lakh. Overall, placements are good.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good, with no complaints regarding facilities. Hostel rooms are well-maintained, and mess food is also of good quality. Canteen food is decent. There are grounds for basketball, football, a turf for cricket, and badminton. There is also library whose environment is good.

Faculty: Faculty teaching is good, with projectors and black/whiteboards available in every classroom. Each classroom is also equipped with air conditioning. Using projectors, faculty members explain concepts effectively, and some teachers also show videos related to experiments. Faculty behaviour towards students is generally good, although a few exceptions exist where some teachers may not understand students well. Overall, the faculty and teaching are commendable.
